Not exactly. Well, it's a funny story, actually. Back on June 16, I came across one of *sirius-blackx2's pics, Jack meets his fate (She's a RABID Titanic fan ** and the Jack in question is the fursona of her favorite character, Jack Dawson.). Anyway, I was reading the comments, and, since your ~RingOfFireXL200's OC Helios (who's a phoenix) was too chicken ** to go through with the rescue, when I had an opportunity to respond, I dove into the freezing-cold water - without even taking any of my clothes off - and pulled him to safety (He had sunk by the time I went to save him, BTW.). Now, even though in the description of the pic, it says he died on the ship - which he did, don't get me wrong -, by the time I got to him, his lungs were completely filled with water. So, after we got to higher ground, I felt his pulse. He had none. Then, I felt his face, which was cold, so there was a chance I could save him (I watch a lot of medical shows, and from one of 'em I learned that a person isn't dead until they're warm and dead - although I have no idea what that means). Knowing that, I immediately started CPR. Just as all seemed hopeless, and after I angrily paniced while doing a round of chest compressions, as I went to blow into his mouth, he violently coughed up all the sea water, thus regaining consciousness. He wasn't outta the woods yet, though; I had to warm him up in order to prevent him from goin' into shock, which I did by laying across him. After I made sure he was out of danger, I took my leave of him, after introducing myself, of course.
They say a good deed is its own reward, but I left that place with three valuable treasures: a new friendship; his lucky hat to remember him by (he gave it to me as a gesture of thanks); and a hope I shared with him that we would see eachother again someday.

Okay, that was the backstory - which ya can read on page 9 of the comments section if ya want. It's the sixth comment from the top. -, now here's where the funny part comes in. At first, *sirius-blackx2 was happy I saved Jack, so, I told her why I did it. Then, after I finished doin' that, which happened 3 days after my life-saving rescue, she got mad because I changed the ending to Titanic (I still can't believe it took her that long to realize that). So, around the same time, after I inquired as to what she was gonna do, she used her powers - her fursona's a witch - to tie me up with ropes and make my shoes and socks come off (upon my request, she also got rid of my shirt, too). Well, long story short, I'm now being tickled senseless!

I disagree with the first commentor on this page. If you seek advice from anyone, it should be me. My reasoning behind that logic is I have only been a member here on DA for about a month-and-a-half, but I am already well-established here. I know how it feels, what it's like, and how hard it is to be new here. So, if there is anything at all I can help you with, please, do not hesitate to ask.
