All I can say is I enjoy producing these works and it makes it very worthwhile when I receive the support and encouragement from talented people like yourself. Although my images are first and foremost invisaged for my own personal viewing pleasure, it is very gratifying to receive plaudits from my peers who also enjoy viewing my images!

No problem Andy! Thanks for producing and showcasing such wonderfull images of my country!

If you ever get up to lisbon again, go to praia da ursa, which is a bit further than praia do guincho and next to cabo da roca - fantastic little beach with a megalith of a sea stack called Ursa! Google it and you'll spot the immense potential of this little gem of a beach! I'll be popping there this summer and trying some long exposures a la andy Mumford!!! lol

Thanks for the reply. I actually live in Lisbon (it's been my home for over 10 years), and I've shot Praia da Ursa on a number of occasions. I was actually there last Monday, but the light was very poor.
It's a tricky place to shoot as it's been photographed so many times before, so it's hard to do something new, especially when shooting from down on the beach itself....The only shot I'm relatively satisfied with from there is this one [link] taken from half way down the cliff.
I'll go back there in a couple of months as I still don't think I've got the shot I want from that beach yet...but at the moment the sun is too far to the south and I need it to be a little more in the west.

For some unknown reason, I thought you lived in the algarve!
I go back to see my family in lisbon every year, so you never know we might come across each other on the trecherous path down to Ursa!!! lol.
