I haven't played IV yet, but from what I've seen and heard of it I have to agree with a persons comment I read:

Oblivion is nice to visit but Morrowind is home.

Now dun get me wrong, I like the engine Obliv is based on, I just don't like this talk of timed quests and something about if you don't finish the game before this time it's game over... Me no likey dat.

Well, NecrosOmbres, Oblivion dosen't HAVE a time quest... That ONLY on the VERY LAST Oblivion gate you reach. You have to get a Great Sigil stone for Martin, and that's where you have to shut it in a specific time. Which means, while in gameplay when there are no Oblivion Gates, you can run around, killin' zombies and rats, skeletons and so much more. You don't have to even follow the main quest. You can go on so many more side quests, even turn into a darn vampire if you wanted to! Your guild(like, say the Dark Brotherhood)even has something happen that TAKES UP YOUR TIIIME xD
So yeah.
Oblivion was the first one I played, and I had gotten it for the X-box, but now I have it for the computer because my brother sold it, and my X-box got the red ring of death. So yeah. I've never actually played Morrowind... I've seen people playing it on youtube, and personally, it just dosen't appeal to me... I don't know, but it just dosen't.

Interesting, I might have to take it out and play it to see for myself. Guess you can't always trust what you hear, eh?

Morrowind is pretty boring, but that's only if you don't have the right mods. You get some good mods working together and it turns into a whole new game. Better bodies, Town expansions, They even have some mods that bring things from Oblivion over to Morrowind. Granted Oblivion has a better engine, but from what I've seen something seems off... guess I'll have to play it before I can really say anything though.

I played Morrowind first but didn't like it, when I got older and saw when it was made compared to the graphics... then I was impressed. Add all the mods people have spent so much time over to perfect and boom! It's a whole new ball game. The only problem is when adding different mods can cause errors... I hate GMST's. XP

I would just like taking what made Morrowind great and put it in an engine like Oblivion's... Or Heroengine lol now THAT would be fun to play around with.

Well, since I've never played Morrowind, I can't say much about what you just said, but I BET. xD

When I first played Oblivion I was attached to it. I asked my brother(it was his game at the time)if I could play it, and I can't remember what he said, but I KNOW I eventually played it, and I LOOOVED it. haha
