Tired of waiting excitedly to get a subscription, and then being given some shit that only allows you to say that you have a subscription on your DevPage and lets you put images on your journal?
And are you tired of WASTING that money when you could be buying something decent, like a new CD that you've always wanted or a fab new top?
Deviantart is a good site, that lets you put up your own work and have people review it. It has a forum and a chat and that's it. People are paying some shitty £16 or so A YEAR just so that they have on their profile 'Deviant Subscriber' instead of 'Member' or whatever, and to put images on their journal.
ENOUGH!!
First of all, there are plenty of sites that let you have a journal WITH images, and in fact, loads more like embedded movies and background sounds and games and moods, and actually good things. Secondly, there are thousands of sites out there that have uploaders where you can upload your work and have it reviewed, AND they usually have a forum AND chat AND loads more.
I know that Deviantart needs to get money from somewhere to keep all this content on the web, but I mean, things like 'Subscribe to get no ads on your page?' Ok that's just going too far!!
IF YOU DON'T WANT ADS THEN GET AN AD BLOCKER
(By the way I expect this journal piece will be deleted by the staff soon. It's just like them to do something like that.)
SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT, HUH? I'm paying 16 quid so that I can get over excited about having no ads when I could have an adblocker?
I'm paying 16 fucking quid a year to have some images on my journal when I could use images in my journal on a better site AND STILL have more for free?

Alright that's enough. I think I've made my point. IF YOU ARE going to waste your pocket money on a subscription, THINK TO YOUSELF: IS IT WORTH IT?!?! NO!!
On a different site, you could get all this and more for free. In my opinion, if Deviantart are going to make you pay for a subscription, they should at least put some decent stuff in the subscription. I mean, c'mon... they get enough money anyway, don't tell me they can't afford it ??

Yes, I have the some of the manga pages. It was originally on HistoryofHyrule, but sadly, the site is on a long hiatus. Luckily, I got to save some of the pages. ^_^ I'll email them to you, beware though, it might take some time.
