I'm glad it put a smile on your face ^^ It was just so interesting the fact that would happen if the human race became extinct because right now we are facing the opposite problem the Earth is dying but the humans are still a large number. I do have a similar beginning plot to this story its a fantasy/romance story though and has a more joyous plot called "Bound by Words" though I'm not planning on publishing it on Deviant Art. Ragnarok and Valkyries, everything in Norse Mythology is very interesting, I wanted this story to be a mix of culture, to show how the Earth would fall and not blame a certain country like we are doing now. Though after my two test, by after tomorrow I'll be done with them and I'll post the first chapter & hope you enjoy it.
P.S: Mythology is very interesting by the way it shows the way people thought then and how a twist of words and everything could change, I hope you check out the Arthurian legend its my favorite though the tragic betrayal love story I'm not fond of, I just like the Round Table,Avalon, Camelot, Excalibur, Merlin, & Arthur himself. I'm thinking of re-writing the tale of King Arthur in my version but then again they've already written so many books about King Arthur. Sorry for the long reply XD

I'm a huge fan of Norse mythology, or any mythology for that matter, and I always enjoy seeing it somewhere.
And I don't mean to be a grammar nazi really, but my advice would be to proof read the piece, I did notice a few errors in there.
Unless this was just like a first version, in which case you can pretyt much ignore that part of my comment
