XD so what was your reaction to the Flutterdash kiss in A Canterlot Wedding?

Pretty much examined every inch and second of it
A lot of people claim the kiss didn't happen because their lips never touched when fluttershy was "pursing" hers
But I think they don't associate sound with the imagery properly
I believe RD kissed FS on the nose right after she lifted her into the air and thus made that face afterwards
Also the sound matches it perfectly
Now OBVIOUSLY the animators/storyboard whatever peoples couldn't SAY that they kissed because it would cause an outrage among parents because it's a kids show
But I think the animators simply "teased" it, like they have in many other shows where "adult jokes" are found underneath simple child intended animation
So it's more like they wanted to HINT at it for simple fun
and because it's such a quick clip, and so vague of a sound, no one can say it's one thing or another
But conclusions can be drawn that it's canon by many of the other "teases" they've done with those two
For instance when rainbow flies into FS's room about the cider, when she pulls the blanket off her and she blushes for no reason (considering the ponies are naked all the time)
They just have to be subtle so no one can start causing problems, much like with the Derpy reaction, where they had to go in and change everything because parents were all pissy/fussy
Sooo yeah, that's my two bits about it

It really is a great ship. Have you read Catching Rainbows? It's probably the best fanfic I've read for this ship. Suprisingly high quality, given the state of most fanfics for anything. This ship reminds me a lot of Naruhina, which was my very first ship, and a long time favorite of mine.

ps. is it totally weird that i imagine humanized FlutterDash as Blythe and Sue from LPS? Bc Sue kinda has Fluttershy's personality, and Blythe is voiced by Ashleigh Ball (RD's actress)

As for the FlutterDash, I'm not going to force you into it, but you can lurk around my stuff and see if you get sucked in
For now, here are my reasons for preferring FlutterDash over RariShy
1) The bond of friendship is already much stronger than between the other girls because of the following: they have known each other since fillyhood, Rainbowdash (who is very sensitive about her reputation) defended Fluttershy in flight school, putting herself on the line for her, and naturally, that would result in Fluttershy feeling very special because of Rainbow's actions for her.
2) They say opposites attract, and in this relationship, it's actually one personality benefiting the other and vice versa.
For example: RD is reckless and cocky and a rough and tumble type.
FS is a soft, nurturing and very considerate type.
While RD can teach all the things about being strong and assertive to FS
she lacks a lot of the soft qualities that FS has. FS can teach RD how to slow down, and really feel things, and feel others as well.
In short, they balance one another very well.
Also, hey! Who care's if it's canon? besides that, if even the animators tease the relationship, then they must think they're meant to be too!
I'm also a fan of RariJack, ever since I've seen *WhiteDiamondsLtd artwork of the ship [link] , I've been sucked in to that too haha!

Haha, well, LPS stands for Littlest Pet Shop. The newer generation is written by the same writes of FiM. I feel like Sue has this big puppy dog crush on Blythe cause she's always following her around and willing to help her with things.
I agree, RD has known FS since fillyhood, and was the only one jumping in and willing to protect her. That was adorable.
What I don't like is how people say "opposites attract" because I have known that to not be true in real life. I have rather known the *opposite* (haha how's that for a paradox?) of opposites attract to be true. Ponies... or, uh, people, of the same interests generally get along much better than people who like different things. Opposites are more likely to get into fights and not get along. however, I agree that in RD and FS's case, it might even help them to balance it out.
Thank you for not forcing me into it, but, I think I'm already hooked onto FlutterDash! XD I still love RariShy though. Not a fan of RariJack. At least RD and FS had a history of friendship, AJ and Rarity just met each other when Twilight came to town. Plus, they always act like they hate each other rather than flirting.
I adore your piece "Don't Hide That Beautiful Face". It's TOO CUTE 
And while it isn't FlutterDash, I do highly suggest checking out the story "Green" by Steel Resolve on FimFiction. It's brilliant and well written, regardless of which ship it supports
