tnx... I knew there was something funny about it. Most signs you'll see refer to the chinese Toa and Feng Shui and are of course writting in chinese. But I saw some sign which don't look like them.
I have seen many chinese signs lately.. In the Netherlands it is now somekind of hype to have chinese signs ( Feng Shui) in your bedroom.
Know you mentioned japanese.. (some of) you work could be descripe as some kind of Zen art. Like Sum-E.

I don't know what Sum-E is, but I guess it could be sort of Zen. Never thought about it like that

sum-e is a style which you can compare with kaligrafie... only instead of letters you "paint" pictures with black inkt in some style.
The way you draw these look very much of it is done with inkt and in one smooth stroke, like sum-e.

I really like your Fairy Series... all of them. You have a great skill of minimalism here.
I love the style how you made these drawings, you keep it to a minimal of lines, but the expression or what it is stays very clear.
By the way, there are no stupid questions, but are those chinese symbols of the words in the corners of the pictures?
