Haha, nothing too exciting, but I did go see the new How To Train Your Dragon movie and I'm thinking about going to a theme park with the my friends. Oh yeah? How was it? I've heard kind of mixed reviews about it, so I'll probably wait until it comes out on DVD to watch it. And I share that hiking fear. That, and I suck at doing anything remotely outdoorsy. It's hard. I actually just got back from the Netherlands! I went down to the beach with my roommate the week before. Now I'm just catching back up on life here and working a lot.

Well, it was a lot better than Frozen in my opinion, but I still think it was missing a little something. Aw, I wish I could have gotten the chance to go to the beach at least once, are the beaches nice there? I'm back in class once again and political science could not be more boring.

Nah, I live in the West Coast in Cali and I have never gone East unfortunately so a visit is planned for sure. It might not be my kind of subject, but I definitely don't think of political science as a joke, I think of it as something very complex and actually has a lot of information for someone to learn (it really gets you thinking). I'm sorry that some people have told you that it was a joke though.

Oooh, very cool! Well, if you ever end up on this side of the country for whatever reason, hit me up! Yeah, I think it's one of those "to each his own" things with political science, or with any subject, really, but people have a tendency to look down on the liberal arts degrees for some reason. It is what it is though. I placate myself with the knowledge that even with a major and two minors PLUS being in the honors program, I have a higher GPA than most of the people that complain about it being a joke.

Yep! I'm an English major and I'm doubling minoring in political science and business. I'm considering swapping that around and double majoring in English and political science while double minoring in business and either psychology or medieval studies, but I'm unsure currently. That's so impressive omg. Haha, I'm actually hoping to work in a animal rehabilitation center, something small because I'm not a very brave person. I wish I had the passion for English because I love reading, but writing is not really not my thing, I tend to write short and to the point. I want to minor in something that I can mingle in, like music or maybe even a different branch of zoology, like cryptozoology.
