Most of them can withstand a lot of punishment, though conversions are understandably a bit more fragile. The only thing we've found so far that can take the paint off the usual masks I paint is a dog chewing on it.

Custom paint jobs on masks or custom made masks themselves? Because I paint and sell them on bricklink (www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=framage ), but only do small scale conversion to the actual shape of the masks.

Generally the 18 pre metru masks work out quite well, but I haven't gotten my hands on every single mask yet to figure out which ones work. If you can find out what material the first 18 are made of (ABS plastic I think?) then any other mask made of the same material should work. I would have to ask a materials scientist about that to be sure though. But the first 18 masks definitely work.
