THANK YOU. I'm so glad that you recognized it was from the manga. The first time I cosplayed her two years ago, nobody could figure out why my bandanna was green. Then this past year, people were approaching me and glomping me left and right. Probably because of Brotherhood.

I bought the wig at a shop close to were my university is. It wasn't a costume or even an anime wig. It was one of those places that has a lot of hair pieces, extensions, dye, etc. They also happened to sell wigs and I got REALLY lucky and not only found a blonde wig but one with bangs! I had to pay a little extra for it but it was worth it since people actually confused it for my real hair.

This is a pretty good site to order a Winry wig: [link] I ordered a green wig from them once it was gorgeous and actually pretty comfortable.

That's because I prefer the manga. I hate the first series.

I think it's for the best. Red and purple - worst combination ever.

You really are lucky! I can't order a wig from the internet since I live overseas. I found out that the delivery costs more that the wig itself! I do have a place to buy a wig (it costs about 13 dollars), but they're pretty.. lame.

Oh yes, manga pwns the first anime hands down. I'm not sure what the artists were smoking when they thought red and lavender went well together...particularly on a mechanic outfit. DX Then there's also the fact that they butchered her character period, but we won't go there....

Yeah, usually costume wigs aren't that great quality. Good luck finding one that actually works for you!

I'm not sure what the directors were smoking when they wrote the scripts for the first series. I mean, Scar loved Lust? Envy and Ed were brothers? Roy killed Winry's parents? ><

On the other hand, the manga was made of pure awesomeness. I loved everything about it. Including the ending, which many people did not like...

I hope so too ^^
I wish I could buy something better, but I don't have the money for it.
