My friend is just sensitive as many artists tend to be and was worried she was being accused of art thievery. Tbh, it is so rampant on DA for others to be accused of copying, especially among dragon and species artists it seems. Some artists I knew got into such big fights over it I had to unwatch their journals! I saw so much stuff like that my first year on year that I can be defensive now when it comes to my friends or myself. Nothing personally hostile was meant though! Nothing wrong with sharing art of course, if you're going to say _____ reminds me of _______ I guess my advice would be to clarify its meant to be positive or neutral and perhaps point out specifics that remind you of ______. In an ideal world there would have been nothing wrong with what you said but due to the drama that can erupt on here it could give artists war flashbacks to the time they were either fighting or had to witness some fight in journals or comments over supposed copying or idea theft. It is unfortunate. If you suspect someone of actual art or idea theft I would def. note them and be polite first, please don't resort to the call out journal bs that so many resort to on here

So, I saw 300 Rise of an empire...it was actually good. Original is still the best, but I was pleasantly surprised that the sequel is actually good.
I might even see it a second time, can't say the same for the incoming barrage of boring super hero films coming soon...

I got Titanfall on my X1 and I like it, but definitely not deserving of all the very high review scores. The campaign is really not a campaign, just multiplayer, hence paper thin plot and very underdeveloped characters.
Considering this came from the guys who created the CoD monster, I really hope they give us a dedicated single player campaign ala MW1. 
Overall an 8.5 to 7.5. Questions? XD

Blood Dragon openly admitted to borrowing elements of Terminator and other 80s action stuff, that was the whole point of that game.Β
The future war bits in Terminator 1 and 2 had laser based weaponry cause it was the future. The newer movies screwed this up big time, especially that crappy PG-13 fourth movie that was basically Call of Duty Terminator. Stupid CoD...

I know about it, but it isn't an Aliens game. Instead, it is a game based on the first film Alien.
Alien was okay, but Aliens to me was definitely the best made film in the franchise and even got nominated for Oscars films like that usually don't get nominated for Netar.
From what I saw of Alien Isolation they are essentially ripping off Amnesia and other forced weapon less horror/haunted house "crap" that gets released lately. Those games rarely tend to be long and frankly are kind of boring. You just see a monster, run and hide, and then suck your thumb until it leaves. The developers don't even give you the option to try and fight back, another great example of lack of choice/freedom in modern gaming if ya ask me.
The older AVP games on PC were able to pull off a great mix of action horror in their marine campaigns. Plus, the older Resident Evil games were awesome at mixing horror and action. We also had F.E.A.R. for some scares mixed with intense action against great enemy A.I. a rarity nowadays.
Finally, there's Condemned also by FEAR developer Monolith. Amnesia kind of ripped off this game, but removed any sort of combat that it had.
From internet videos, I can see there are plenty of Amnesia clones out there now, some probably cheaper than Alien Isolation will be for its rather short length. Heck on PS4, Sony just gave It's Plus members last years Outlast, another Amnesia clone, for free. I hear that was okay, but as usual short.
Aliens is such a iconic film, so much other games rip off Aliens it is scary, even the new game from the guys who made Left 4 Dead is ripping off Aliens. It sucks we can't get a awesome game based on it now with all the great tech we've got now. I'm really not excited for anything game wise at the moment besides the silly Earth Defense Force...
It's sad when a mod off Cryengine 3 to remake the Colonial Marine campaign from the first AVP looked 100% better than Gearbox's farce of a game. m.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7m5cRX3β¦
Man, I'm gonna save up and get a gaming laptop. You can get the older AVP games for real cheap on Steam...

Hmh, did go and see the new Hobbit, the dragon parts were good, too bad you had to sit and wait for it for hours. Anyways, now that I have some time with the holidays, I'll try and write something.

I saw it last week, even told Ghostwalker about it, she didn't like what I had to say about the movie. XD
The dragon was cool, but you did have to wait through a lot of boring stuff before he showed up and then was only in the movie for about what? 30 minutes? XD
Plus, Smaug came off kind of dumb, why go attack the human city when the Hobbit and Dwarves are right there!?
I'd like a more dragon focused movie instead of what we got, though it was a bit better than Hobbit 1.
As for writing, nice! Now that Ghost killed Crimson, Mr. Spock: "That is highly illogical...", I've got zero dragon stuff out there at the moment besides your story. XD

A remake in the style of Halo CE Anniversary that upped the graphics, but kept what made the original game awesome underneath a new coat of paint. XD
So many games fail to deliver on a great single player campaign or multiplayer let alone both these days. It is sad that Id managed to make such an awesome game only a few years ago and few today are able to even make a decent game these days...Β

However, it is a new company and Id hasn't really had much to do with it. However, of what I've seen of Wolfenstein The New Order, it reminds me more of RTCW than that terrible 2009 Ravensoftware Hubenstein did.
