I actually never had these "nose-problems" I've been through alot with it and I love the pictures it makes. I find some of the buttons completely useless though and sime crucial things deep in the "menu". But all in all, I am happy that I have it.

One more thing is, that I rarely have enough light. But that might just be a lens problem, right?

I usually don't find any problems with lighting, but it could definitely have to do with the lens... check it out.

I mean, without an IS lens, my sisters compact mini-camera got less blurry pictures, when there was no light. However, with good-lighted portraits for example, the EOS was by far better

Like your gallery so you be my second watch I guess. I hear ya about positive comments but be weary of them. There is always room for improvement and it can be detrimental to stop trying to push yourself and to stay hungry. I have three pros(one in a separate field of photography) that require three labs each a week. I have been working with them for about 8 months now. I have YET to produce a photo that one of them likes let alone all of them. They are the hardest ass pricks in the world but I would say one of them is also the best in the world in his field so you can't say shit. That my dear has made me progress as a photographer leaps and bounds and faster than I ever expected!!!
Keep your vision alive and look forward to your future work!!

Thanks again for all the words of wisdom. I try to never let positive feedback go to my head, and I also really take critiques to heart and apply them to my work. I am still learning, but I feel like I have been progressing almost nonstop. I can tell your advice is going to be very helpful in that process.
