Its going ok. Not exactly enjoying the massive humidity and heat but what can you do? Im super excited to be graduating this coming school year, Im ready to get the hell outa this place and go somewhere where I can do something productive.

Im in massive need of a light table so I can make copies of my drawings for inking and coloring with my Prismas.

Yeah I'm really excited to Finally be a senior. I've been wanting to get outta here for Soooooo long. I'm so happy its like so close.

my summer has been alright. been doing alot of art. and trying to make some strong pieces for my portfolio before Nov. 13th (when National Portfolio day is in Chicago.). overthinking it is kinda stressful. I mean that day is the first big impression I can make on my dream school, Rhode Island School of Design, and if show them something that really impresses them, a lot of really good things can happen right there (like they can wave applictions(and the fees for them), they can tell me I won't have to bother with sending in a portfolio later on, they could qualify me for possible scholarships.... etc.... ). it's like a big deal. so I'm doing all I can to make sure I've got something that'll blow them away.

yup yup.. and other then that... hm... I went and saw AFI live. it was amazingful. and .... yeah I've been watching alot of tv and anime. like... Dark Angel, Project Runway, The 4400, old power rangers episodes. and for anime... this AWESOME show Ergo Proxy, Nana, and this hilarious show called Ouran High School Host Club yup.. and that's about it. haha...

That sounds awesome. I would never get into school for my drawings. I want to go to Hallmark School Of Photography in MA but my mom said I cant becuase she doesnt want me that far away. I think I could get in if I put together a really kick ass portfolio. I have alot of ideas for pictures, I just dont have the equipment and studio to take them. *grumbles*

I saw your pictures of the AFI concert. I've been keeping up on three online comics (Red String, Misfile, and Hunt) because there is never anything good on tv. Yeah man, when I was younger we taped ALL the first season of Power Rangers. XD

I hope you do really good with your portfolio in Chicago! Getting a load of scholarships and the like would be aweomse becuase schooling is so freakin' expensive now-days. Good Luck! Does this National Portfolio Day apply only to this Rhode Island School of Design, maybe Hallmark would be there ._. *blinks* I could attempt to do something productive and get into school in MA.

Did you seriously tape Power Rangers??? and do you still have the tapes??? if you do I want to borrow them!! I'm sooooo serious about this.

Ha and yeah I went and checked on the Portfolio Day thing(which tons of art schools from all over the US do).. yeah I don't know how my stupid brain set itself on Nov. 13th for the one in chicago. 'cause the chicago one is Oct. 15th. BUT thankfully, the one at Kendall is Nov. 11th. I'm sure glad I looked at that. But yeah that Hallmark photography school wasn't on the list of schools that do the portfolio days.

oh and I think you should totally still apply and do whatever has to be done to get into that school. It's your future right? I don't think your mom should hold you back from a place that you're really interested in.

It is my future, your very right, I just have to work real hard to try and get into the school. Im sending in app.s for scholarships left and right, hoping somehow I will manage to get a few because if I could pay for most of my schooling with scholarships that would rock, and then I dont think she would really care if I went to a local place or out in MA. We are so tight on money that I wonder if I will even go to college sometimes -.-; Ugh. . .darn economy.

yup yup. scholarships are kickass, you can also apply for grants and all the financial aid and student loans stuffers.
