Maybe so, but Frollo was an antagonist and Griffy is supposed to be a protagonist.

Were the story written better, he would make a good villain, but Wes is not a good writer and Griffy is not the villain.

Well it's not really an awful truth. I mean griffy COULD be done well, but he's unworkable and unlike-able as a protagonist. He's a Soapbox Sue a character self inserted to allow the author to vent their own views into the show.

The real awful truth is that he exists.
