The cartoony art you see is the intended style I'm going for because I believe it is somewhat underrated and is also my own original style.

What softwares do you use when you do your arts?
The only that I can draw is anime and manga characters faces and eyes my favorite thing is the eyes but UW art I can't do yet... (-_-)
I draw in A4 paper, I use scanner and I color in paint.
My drawings are underrated but I love pixel art too.

I use (you may not believe this, but...) Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 for all my digital art drawings. Photoshop was my savior since my art school days and it still is. I know, I'm not even using the latest version of Photoshop. The trick to being able to draw various forms of art is to look at different references. I found a useful reference for when I eventually draw Shaya's swimming animations. And I do believe pixel art worked for the first three Shantae games. Feel free to look those up. The way they got off the ground was interesting and they've accumulated a pretty big cult following. Heck, the third game, Pirate's Curse made it to Japan!

Yes, Photoshop is a good thing but for me is a little hard I always used paint.

Whatever that translation site I pointed out gives me. Like I said, I use it for a rough translation, so I really don't know Japanese too well.

I don't know if you will understand but "しまめぐりのしゃや" the "しゃや" you can do like "シャヤ" or "シャーヤ", in Japan the names that are foreigner they write in katakana and the title will be like "しまめぐりのシャヤ" or "しまめぐりのシャーヤ"(I think シャーヤ is more correct compared to シャヤ), but it's just a hint you don't have to change, the project is yours and I will respect your opnion.

I just do whatever I get from that rough translation site. Although, I'm pretty sure "densetsu" means "legend" or something in Japanese, as it is used for the "Seiken Densetsu" games, which may or may not have been called "Legend of Mana" for western languages.
