As an admirer of your Works who has been downright Delighted by the hyper-patriotic Presidential Portraits in your Gallery (hilariously overblown and deliciously all-American in equal measure) I would like to both compliment you on these Works of Art and ask for your advice on a subject that has been nagging me for some time now.
Now as I am a DC devotee with an affinity for characters obscure, under-used and/or outright ignored coupled to a fondness for Americana, you can well imagine my delight when I came across Uncle Sam - arguably the Distinguished Competition's closest equivalent to Captain America and far more deliciously overblown as a character concept (he basically sprang from Propaganda posters into comics with a single leap!).
Despite this fondness for the iconic appearance of this superhero I was nonetheless happy enough to hear that he had recently "regenerated" as an African-American, not least because Variety is the spice of Life and putting a new face on a time-honoured Icon was a worthwhile endeavour.
Then I realised that they'd finalised his design as "Generic Suit" and felt an acute distaste for such a dull, grey design for THE Star-Spangled Icon.
As a creator with such an eye for bringing the Superhuman into the realm of the Presidential coupled to a taste for the All-American, might I please ask if you have any advice on how the design might be "punched up" a great deal until the modern Uncle Sam is fit to stand out and be counted alongside his more iconic design? (The only idea that has occurred to me independently was that an African-American Uncle Sam might borrow from the stage musical HAMILTON by blending the fashions of the Founding Fathers with a sense of style drawn from a more modern urban milieu).

Awesome gallery seriously it's hilarious ! But a question, maybe other people reading this comment can answer it.. I notice the company "The Mountain" is producing shirts with Jason's artwork on it that can be found on sale at amazon, walmart, other places (for example if you do a search on amazon using the terms dubya shark mountain a t-shirt with president bush on a shark will pop up) ... I'm guessing that with retail companies that big that this is an authorized use of the artist's work and he's being paid appropriately for this... the last thing I want to do is purchase stuff featuring his artwork that the artist isn't being paid for ! Can anyone shed any light on this?

His designs have been featured on a lot of shirts from Big Mountain. Don't blame hot topic for selling merch that's being made by some other company and they don't have a clue as to whether the design/graphic is legal or not

If I were you, i'd request that AAFnation credit you for the images and refer to them as "Officially Licensed". It seems, like everyone else, I was here because I didn't think those shirts were legit.
