Mm.. Yeah, you could say that. Just wing it without any thought really.

But, my OCs will begin that way. Then, I slowly add on and redesign them until Im satisfied.

Sounds like what I do too. Which reminds me. Finally rebooted Spritso a bit. A story is coming to my head.

Also I rebooted spritso's tumblr. I've never had quite the amazing sonic rp experience as this before. A lot better then the chatrooms I go in to. My time was wasted. I could never find the right people.

I really just offer roleplays to new people sometimes. I must admit I am addict for roleplays.

Your character could help them get back to there unharmed.

He won't be much help, He's just a civilian. And doesn't really have any usefull powers or any in that manner.
I don't see how he could protect them, only bring them to the designated area. He's no super hero.

Ah, but even civilians can aid the military in times of need. For instance he could lead them to a save place to hide, such as a house or barn. He also could be a guide to help them find there way back.
