Good to see you back on the field. Everything improving on "that" end of things then?

You did an exceptional job!
I remember that picture from WAY back and you even got the funky eye tilt right.
Your shading was expertly executed. The drawing comes out looking like a photograph.
What kind of pencils did you use? Is it different when you do portraits vs still life?
Are you taking a class or did you just have pure talent and read a couple of book?
(say classes..CLASSES...then I won't feel like a total untalented rube
)

Oh, thanks a lot! And yes, that's probably why he is so young in that one. I got a little suspicious when I noticed the eye tilt, but I checked several times to make sure I didn't get it all wrong.
I used the soft round regular brushes in ps, and for some skin parts to look more realistic I used the regular spatter brush, I think its called. For all the pores i used a regular 2 pixel brush, doing the pores one by one. It was a pain in the ass, sort of. No, I'm not taking any classes. (yet) I just keep on drawing until I get it right. My dad was an artist so I probably got some of his talent. It's my 5th table drawing actually, so I'm still learning. I still prefer drawing on paper though, cause in my opinion table is more difficult. But if you put a lot of effort in it, you can get more details using a table. Patience is the key.
Sorry if my english is a little bad, and thank you again.
