Rean was lying against an alley wall, twirling her knives in her hands. Two dead bodies lay beside her, two dead drug addicted teenagers. Rean was covered in blood from her latest double kill.

Jeff was sitting on a empty bench, unable to get the thought of death and disembowelment. Honestly, he didn't mind the thought, the impossibility of it always remaining did. He gave a chuckle before deciding to think that he should look for something to read. Maybe that'll get his mind off it. He examined the inside of the glass shelter, and found a newspaper stuffed underneath the bench. He began to question, though stopped in his tracks. He picked it up, and looked at the headline, which read:

"Multiple kills around the nation"

"There was a string of murders in two different places in the past few months. The murders committed in one place were recorded at a length of four years, all the victims dying in their sleep. In another place, or possibly the same place, there was a string of double kills and other miscellaneous murders, all of them found in the same place, the corpses side-by-side. We are on the lookout for who is doing this. They'll be found and put behind bars."

Jeff was intrigued. Another killer, unlike himself? Double kills? Corpses side-by-side? And he thought his nineteen kills in a row each night were disastrous. He was eager to find out who this killer was, despite the inability to go and find the killer. It would take years, and would take his mind off of killing. He couldn't allow it. Before pocketing the article, he continued reading it. He was surprised that it was continued.

"With the other numerous murders, with the victim dying in their sleep, and now these double kills, it's going to be difficult finding who exactly is doing which murders. We can assume that the killer who is doing the sleep murders is also the murderer who is doing the murders of the police officers who were found dead, burnt, and badly mutilated inside the trunk of their vehicles. For the moment, we have no confirmation of this."

After many silent minutes, Rean got up slowly and walked home casually, even though almost half of her entire body was covered in crimson. She managed to avoid the other humans on the way home. She thought about the news that she read in the paper. People dying in their sleep, huh she thought. She knew their must be another blood thirsty monster like her out there somewhere. Haven't seen a headline like that ever since I went on a killing spree. After about half n hour, she reached her dark, abandoned apartment and walked in. Setting her two knives on her able, Rean took a seat and continued to question herself about this other mysterious killer on the loose.
