I'm so glad to hear you got your laptop back. Well parents will be parents. You just have to show them you are doing something constructive. That always seems to work for me! Besides itβs your time, itβs your choice how you choose to spend it.
It always so happens that when I'm working constructively on the computer for an extended period of time and decide to take a five minute break, either my dad or my step mom walks in and ask me why am I not working. This irritates the living crap out of me and this always seems to be the case.
Personally I don't think they should say anything at all because you are holding down two jobs now, whilst studying at the same time. That is rather hectic to say the least! I admire your courage and determination and you are a far better person than I.
I cannot even hold down one job, let alone two jobs. Well to be quiet honest I've never applied for a job. Not that I'm too good, proud or lazy to get my hands dirty. Its just Iβve never needed a job before because I'm somewhat self sufficient and resourceful. βThat is soon going to change.β
That is great Toeknee you have taken the first steps to becoming self reliant and to earn your keep. Just a word of advice, try not to let your studies suffer whilst working two jobs. Yes the prospect of earning an income is very rewarding at first, but an education is a necessity. Just maintain a constant equilibrium and you'll be fine.
Yes how could I forget the prose submission! That story had its way with me because you conveyed it so exquisitely that I thought it was reality. βYou have a real knack for writing and not to mention very convincing.β Count me in as a reader and a few visual illustrations would be a great idea too.
I'm sure it will not take too long to colour your line art on your laptop, especially once I've sent you Adobe Photoshop7! An epiphany you say, what possible error of your being? I personally cannot see the error of your ways. What do you mean by your cat needs you?
You certainly do not deserve to hit rock bottom, no one deserves to hit rock bottom! Excellent go out into the world, make yourself herd, be known. Define who you are as an individual, tread your own path in life and achieve the goals you have set out to achieve.
You say I must not wish you luck, but I will wish you luck nevertheless because you are going to need it. If you like it or not! Itβs good to be independent, but don't let your pride get the better of you. There are people out there whose primary objective is to challenge and distract you from your ultimate goal in life. But there are also people out there who are willing to help and guide you along the way.
I offer my help to you, if in such times it is required.
