Way to go, friend. I like to take the opportunity to do nothing whenever I get the chance. Good company over coffee can be the best sometimes. Keep relaxing, mate. There'll be plenty of times when you can't.

Actually I've been contemplating not going.
I've been weighting up the Army in comparison to my natural behaviour and have come to the conclusion I'm just not going to make it.
By nature I'm stereotypically lazy, unorganised and have no respect for authority [How.... "teenagery" of me lol]
I mean sure, the monies good, and I'll be able to get away from my family, but at what price?
The loss of being able to do what I want when I want, not being able to hang out with my mates on a regular basis, and just overall becoming another mindless drone in admist the bureaucracy system and that's something I don't really care for.
I think I'd much rather be working for minimal pay in a music, game or art store to pass the time over the next year. I mean it may not be the best paying job in the world, but what could be better?

In the army you will meet the army, I think, which for many is fine. You'll travel, maybe, but you'll always see the army point of view in everything because it is so all-encompassing. It has to be. You'll depend on each other for your lives.
I like the idea of working in the ordinary world for a while. It'll give you a break from study and allow you to meet some new people possibly and you'll certainly have some new experiences.

It seems my laid back, "don't really care" attitude has landed me in some... how do you say it... "hot water" in school.
APPARENTLY you're supposed to hand in "homework" and if you don't you fail your HSC, well guess what, I've failed hahaha.
Last 2 years of my life have been wasted, well last year anyway, I have last year's tests done.
But hey, I'm not one to really care, I'm sure that I'll end up doing something I'll enjoy, even if it means I'll be making ends meat
Honestly though, I don't think I would have survived in Uni anyway, I still wouldn't have handed anything in lol
Last day at school will be tomorrow I think, we'll see what final words the Principal has to say hahaha
