There is more to life than sadness, than logic, than reason. There is the other half that comes when one gives into the passion of love, or romance. Love has saved my life (literally) before, and so, I'd say it is worth it.

I know that love is worth it as many times as it hurts. Maybe all of that hurt, all of those tears, those moments filled with, perhaps those are caused by me, by my scarred soul, reaching out, and scarring others. Someday, I hope to be loved, and to love, and never cause pain again.
