yes.
though the only way to make that show is by watching someone, then making sure it says friends.
or you can show on your page that you are friends.
you can also just talk to them often, it doesn't have to show.
they can watch you, or you can do both ways.
you also don't have to be friends to show that you are friends.

I make all the people I watch my "friend" so I can keep track of who I am watching. though, I usually try to make friends in the end.
