I getcha--I'm part of a very specific crowd with very specific interests, and I acknowledge that it's a bit (if not integrally and entirely) strange XD
Thanks, though! I sometimes play around with colors a bit, just to see how it looks, and if it really adds interest to the whole work, I keep it. I like using textures, as well--cartoon-style solid block coloring isn't really satisfying to me.

Awesome, I was thinking maybe like Cirno and Daiyousei from Touhou (i.imgur.com/XgSf9Xb.jpg left one is Cirno, right one is Daiyousei), where Cirno would be in a hanging wedgie from a tree while her friend Daiyousei watches, but Cirno has an expression like she has everything under control, or just like the same expression from that picture, and Daiyousei has like a facepalm expression.

or if that's overly specific, maybe something like Mai from Nichijou in a flagpole wedgie, but she has a blank expression and is just reading a book while hanging, but i'd much prefer that first touhou one if you can

Well I have a character named tammy, she is a evil, semi-demon, that likes to pull pranks on people and humiliate them, but sometimes her powers can backfire, and can end up humiliating herself.
