Quite welcome. All my critiques are honest and from a common language. Literature is a passion of mine and I'll have to figure out how to post some sooner or later, but for now I enjoy reading your submissions. I read 4 books at a time (not at the same time, but in random order).
The biggest 'err' I've made was promising my wife a finished book over three years ago... it's there, but unfinished like the rest of things I have done. I'm looking forward to catching up on things over the next few years.
Point = dig it, don't dig it, I will always be honest about things. At first I was like 'wait, MORE'... but then I realized it is what it should be.
Off to bed here... too tired to march on.

I can't fault your honesty, regardless of whether I agree. Having said that, I was pretty chuffed [British slang for 'happy'; but there's not a corresponding verb, e.g. 'to chuff,' to go along with it], pretty darned chuffed, to read what you had to say in your critique - or I should perhaps say 'critique'.

quite welcome, yourself. the top ten section is my favorite because, well - i'm a huge fan (in photography) of natural distance and lines... like the Oblong piece and the stairs. The street crossing is also phenomenal... and to think you got to see it with yer own eyes.
When it comes to pen/ink/crayon/whatever, unless you are M.C. Esher, well, you can't get the 'lines' or the perfection that you can with photography. Capture that stuff like you have, in the film medium, and it's magic to me. Ergo, this is why I am ranting about your collection.

Film and time... you just reminded me of a project I have to complete for a family member. Indeed, I am so new here and I'm exacto-knifing out all this old material chronologically. Point is, equipment. I need a bigger scanner for my more recent stuff, but for now my stock HP will do.
I have an Agfa 1960's 9mm camera... I wouldn't know what to do with it, but I do know that I wish I could film in 9mm, directly inject it to digital, and work with the frames/pieces from that point. Don't get me wrong - clarity is great for many movies (hi-def crap), but there is something about the sincere, natural noise of that medium. For example, my favorite pieces of film come from "How We Won The War" and "Dr. Strangelove"... I want THEIR cameras and film!
Good luck with time... for me, I ignore it, but I still hear a tick which means the past is incrementally going away and the future is exponentially becoming smaller....
