"Kinktober" is definitely not my idea. If you keep the link for this year, you'll be able to get in on the event for next year (2020) because the hosts are usually the same. In 2018 I submitted images for all 31 themes/days. It was quite an undertaking, and I decided I wouldn't try to do that again. So this year I went with the approach sponsored by Lerra22 for a collaboration between an artist and a writer, with each pair choosing one of the specified themes and posted on the appropriate day. That's where the collaboration between myself (as writer of the story) and AshBond (as illustrator) originated. I've known Ashbond for quite a while now, and I am a very enthusiastic supporter of his work, so the collab made a lot of sense.
Per the ESL issue: this is what I say to people like you: if I could speak/write in your native language as well as you speak/write in mine (English), I would be very proud. Very! It's a significant achievement to make yourself understood, especially idiomatically, in a language you did not grow up with. I do speak 2 or 3 other languages, myself, although no longer very fluently, and also I do some translation for writers looking to have their work (in French or German) represented in English. It's a really good challenge. My one regret, given how old I am (I'm old) is that I didn't take the opportunity to learn 2-3 MORE languages than I did. Sure, I use Google translator, and I'm very glad that such an app exists, but I'd rather be able to have a conversation than paste a phrase into an app...wouldn't you? Β

My first visit to your gallery, even though we've both been around here a very long time. So, my apologies.
There's some extraordinarily beautiful images here. My congrats. Also a large assortment of experiments and adventures, which I admire. And in many styles and across a bunch of media, too. An artist, for sure. Willing to take chances but also capable of pulling back and doing some deliciously classical pieces.

As far as I'm concerned, anybody's private fetish is okay with me, and I celebrate our similar interests and backgrounds, even if the details of our fetishes are not held in common (you can check out my posting site, BandMachArt , to see drawings and stories that illustrate my own fantasies). It's important to fetishists and non-fetishists alike that we continue to emphasize the distinction between fantasizing vs. acting out our fetishes, especially when the "acting out" part is with someone who does not give their consent to be involvedβwhich of course is a no-no. We all know that this means some fetishes are more difficoult to actualize than others...which of course is why art is so important. So I encourage you to draw, write, or whatever to give voice to the fantasies, even if you never post them or make them public.
