"You what?!" Joey, Amanda, and Celeste yell at him, making him back away with a nervous smile and laughter.Β
"C-come on you guys! She has a whole future ahead of her, and I wasn't about to let that be taken away! I'm okay, ser-"Β
"You're NOT okay!" Celeste says as she suddenly pushes Sawyer towards the men. "You are so not going to Ceronia! I'll make the trip to Paris and to our city to tell them! What the heck were you thinking?!"Β
"You could've been really, REALLY hurt, or even killed!" Amanda tells him.Β
Sawyer tries to calm them down with a nervous look, laughing a little. It seems the people of Ceronia really care about this boy.

Yori smiles a bit at the commotion they're making. It's obvious these kids really care about each other. It's great to see, especially in a time of crisis. "Come on then. Follow me."
He turns and walks out of the stadium and down the street. Ryouji turns back into a bat and perches on Arael's shoulder, hitching a ride as the angel and demon follow after him. Luckily, they're not that far from their hotel, where everyone's on edge. Yori takes them up to their rooms, which in fact, is an entire floor all to themselves. He takes them to the furtherst room where Roukan is hard at work. He's a white haired man, concentrating hard. He has a laptop infront of him, hooked up to several different external monitors that are now showing different parts of the city. One screen is showing footage of the first bomb explosion of the day, from a camera that caught it all, yet was luckily undamaged.Β
"We're back." Yori announced. Roukan didn't appear to hear him. He was lost in his own world.

Sawyer sighs in defeat as Celeste hurries to get to Paris, and then to Ceronia.Β
"You guys should take a chill pill.."Β
"Sawyer, you ran INTO the range of a bomb that EXPLODED. How can we not worry about that?" Joey says. "I swear, you're always like this." He chuckles as Sawyer sticks his tongue out at him as they walk to the hotel.Β
The three blink as they watch Roukan at work, with Amanda looking up at Yori. "You think he'll come back to Earth some time?"

"Just let him work. He'll be like that until he cracks whatever it is he's working on." Yori said, going to the wardrobe where they kept a first aid kid. "Alright, the injured, come here."
Arael went over and started rummaging through the first aid kit. He wiped down the cuts and scraps he'd accumulated from the explosion and bandaged up a larger wound on his arm.
"Got it!" Roukan suddenly exclaimed triumphantly. On the screen he was looking at, approximately a few minutes after the bomb explosion, a figure could be seen grabbing a person in the chaos. The dust hadn't yet settled from the explosion. Now that he'd found what he was looking for, he looked over at everyone in the room. "Oh, hello. Good work on the bombs everyone..... who are you?"
He blinked at the newcomers.Β

Sawyer blinks in surprise as he suddenly hears Roukan call out triumphantly. Certainly spooked him a little. But soon enough her calms down, and smiles a little. "I'm Sawyer, and this is Joey and Amanda. We had helped your friends with the bombs."Β
"And this idiot here jumped into the range of a bomb to save a little girl." Amanda says as she gives Sawyer a look, making him pout a little. "That's why he has a bleeding head."Β
"You guys are never going to let that down, are you?"Β
"NO." Both Amanda and Joey say at once.Β

Roukan looked Sawyer up and down and smiled slightly. "You've got wolf genes. You smell more like a demon, but the tail is a bit of a giveaway. I'm a werewolf myself, from the Yukimura Clan in Japan."
"A clan that was nearly hunted to extinction hundreds of years ago." Yori said softly. Roukan smiled sadly at that.
"That's what friends are for, ya know." Ryouji had taken a seat on the couch and put his feet up on the table. "They never let you forget the dumb shit you've done, even if it was for a good reason."

Sawyer sighs and chuckles, smiling, one of his wolf ears twitching and his wolf tail wagging slightly. "Yeah, these guys are sometimes annoying. But they're irreplaceable."Β
"Excuse me?!" Amanda says, face palming as Sawyer laughs a bit. "Let's just get that wound of yours taken cared of, you giant idiot."Β
Joey smiles a little. Now that things have slightly calmed down, his super shy personality is showing, as he kinda keeps a distance from the men, sticking close to Amanda and Sawyer.Β
(So, out of curiosity, what does the company think of Sawyer so far?)

Yori brings the first aid kid over to the young ones. "Here. Everything you need should be in here."
Cian went over to look over Roukan's shoulder at the screen. "When you guys are done over there, perhaps you could tell us if you recognize the figure here as one of the scientists you know?"
Roukan was busy typing away, bringing up all the CCTV footage from all the cameras in that area around the same time, looking for different angles or perhaps, a clearer view on what was happening. He wants to try and figure out which way the man when to be able to try and track him. His face is full of concentration again, back in his own little world.
(They like him ^^ Arael was impressed when he went to save the girl)

Sawyer smiles as he thanks them and starts working to heal up Joey and Amanda, but they stop him from doing so, making him blink. "Oh no, we're getting your wounds looked at first, buddy." Amanda says.Β
Sawyer looks at them with a "Seriously?" expression as he sighs, smiling. "Will you two calm down? I'm not dying or -"
"Yours first." Amanda insisted.Β
"Okay, okay." Sawyer sighs as he hands the first aid kid over to her.Β
Joey makes his way to Roukan and Cian and makes a disgusted face. "That's one of them of course. In fact, she's the leader of those jerks, Michelle.."Β

"Michelle..." Roukan is surprisingly paying attention this time. "What else can you tell me about her? Or in fact, anything about these scientists?"
"Roukan is the master at digging up dirt." Ryouji grinned from the couch. "Man's a computer whiz. If these guys use a computer for anything, this dude will find a way into it eventually. Storing files, sending emails, anything."
"I'm glad you think so highly of my skills, Ryouji, considering you say I 'sit around on my butt all day'" Roukan responded dryly.
"Hey, you get results doing that." Ryouji shrugged it off. "Who am I to object. But yeah guys, anything you can tell us, the better."

"They like having bases everywhere. They're scattered all over the place, as they don't have one main building of operation. We believe that it's because it makes it harder to round them up. Not only that, but they do like their tech, but it's extremely difficult to get into their systems. I know a boy who is also a hacker, so I know how hard it is." Sawyer saysΒ

"A challenge." Roukan muttered. "Well I'll certainly give it a go. For now, it seems like that woman, Michelle, headed east with the person they grabbed right after the explosion." He brings up a map of the city on another screen, in which a route seems to be highlighted. "This is the path she took.Β At least one more explosion was in the direction she went, so it's reasonable to say she may have grabbed someone else in that time."
"Soo, if we keep following her path, we should eventually find her." Ryouji said. He reaches into his pocket and grabs a small vial of pills out and takes a couple. He makes an absolutely disgusted expression in the process.

Sawyer wanted to ask about the pills, but decides against. To him, that would be a violation of privacy. Maybe he has something that messes with his body, and that's medication for it. Or maybe he has those pills as a replacement for blood, so he doesn't end up attacking anyone. Or maybe perhaps the movies are all wrong, and vampires don't attack when they're starving for blood..
"What we would have to do next is to find that area's base.." Joey says, still keeping a shy distance from the men. He's comfortable with them, it's just that he has a very shy personality. That's just the way he is.
"They're diffidently going toΒ be armed. Celeste knows this, so I don't doubt she would be bringing help with her." Amanda tells them.

"You look happy, Ryouji." Cian commented.
"Blood pills, man. They're disgusting." He grimaced. "And did you say armed? Well well, it so happens that I'm well and truly armed too, ready to take on any douchebags with my rifle and-"
"We'll get to that when we actually find them." Yori interrupted. They were all getting along well, but still having only just met those kids to day, it probably wasn't the best plan for Ryouji to go announcing about his weapons stash. Especially the grenades. "Have you ever found one of their bases before? What do they look like? What type of security? Any details are important."
Roukan was keeping his eyes on the screens. The map with the highlighted pathway was auto-updating whenever he found more footage.Β

At that point, the door has been knocked on. Celeste has returned with some others from Ceronia.
"Sorry it took us so long. They're actually looking for us.."Β
"Wait, seriously?" Sawyer asks.Β
Celeste nods with a worried expression. "They thought it was us who has been messing with the bombs. Thankfully, they don't know about our friends here." She nods to Yori, Roukan, Arael, Cian and Ryouji. "They only think that it was the citizens of Ceronia. I asked some friends of ours to keep an eye out in case they "drop into the hotel for a visit."Β
"Great, as if this can't get any worse.." Sawyer sighs, but then notices a girl with pink hair with some white here and there, with purple eyes. Her hair is over one of her eyes. She has tiny fairy like wings, cat ears and a tail. She also has some cyber parts on her that don't look like they belong on her. Was she a vicitm of the scientists..?Β
"I am Zoey Velis. I was experimented inside one of those bases. I can tell you everything about those hideous people..."Β

The company boys look at Zoey when she speaks up. Upon hearing her words, it doesn't take them long to figure out that the cybernetics must have been an addition made to her by the scientists. All of them look quite pissed off about this fact.
"Bastards." Ryouji cursed.
"Tell us, Zoey." Yori says in a kind voice.Β
(Sorry for the late reply, it's been a busy day. Also I have work for the next three days so I'll barely be online during that time)

Zoey nods and takes a deep breath. Whenever she talks about them, she feels like her heart is about to burst with anger. "They have a very futuristic look within the base. Lots of technology that most people don't know of, and lots of computers. It's extremely difficult for someone to hack into it, but with my cybernetics, I can help you get the location of a couple of their bases, which is scattered all over the place. They really don't like staying in one place.."Β
"These scientists had thought ahead, and made several back up bases, in case one or two fall. Not only that, but that also doubles their storage for their victims. Instead of cramping them in one building, they can do so with multiple buildings, and take more then a handful of people. I am Kaede Sakata, and I too was a victim of their cruelty." A boy with red hair and orange eyes says. He has eagle like wings, and a dragon tail and scales. Like Zoey, he also has cybernetic parts to him.Β
"They keep their bases hidden in any way possible. Placing them places where people never visit, within forests, underground, anywhere that could hide their experiments. Please promise us you'll be careful if you plan to go face to face with them. They killed many of our friends.. They.." The boy's words trail off as he looks away sadly.Β
"Kaede.."Β
"They make many of their victims fight each other, often to the death to see which ones are worthy to keep their lives. They are willing to kill kids, adults, just about anyone. They killed my father, and left many of us orphans. They also starve many of us to death, and leave our throats as dry as a desert. It goes to the point where they are so skinny."Β

The company looked disgusted, hearing the brutality that these people were inflicting on their poor victims, especially kids. Yori clenched his fists, with Roukan putting a hand on his shoulder to calm him down. It seemed that no matter how many menaces they took down, more were just waiting in the woodworks, comitting evil. And they'd been allowed to get away with it for too long.
Once again, Yori thought back to the two women they'd met. At least those two had been allowed peace when the scientists involved with them had been killed. These poor children, however... how long would their suffering have to last?
"Don't worry about us, kids. It's not our first rodeo with scumbags like this." Ryouji reassured them. "We'll be fine~ I used to work for an old war general that taught me everything I know. Until he kicked the bucket. That was like a hundred years ago now though..." The vampire said thoughtfully, showing his age. "But yeah, no need to worry about us. Just worry about yourselves, okay?"
"Don't mind Ryouji, he can be rather cocky at times." Cian said quickly. "But of course we'll all be careful."

Kaede looks away as he couldn't contain his tears, and Sawyer hugs him tightly in a comforting matter, and Zoey tries so hard not to cry herself.Β
"They.. They had lied to us, the demon children with cybernetic parts. We thought we were fighting for a good cause. They made us believe that Ceronia was brainwashing everyone in France, and using them for horrible plans. They faked evidence to back up this claim and we thought against them and those who sided with them. They made us hurt so many innocent people without us knowing."Β
"Zoey, you know that wasn't your fault, or your friends fault. None of you knew -" Amanda blinks as Zoey looks at her sadly
"It was still by our own hands! We had WILLINGLY hurt people! I'm still surprised everyone in Ceronia wanted to help me and my friends. I'm still surprised that you forgave us after all of that. You wanted to free us and help us have a better life. You never gave up on us.."

Yori comes over and puts a hand on Zoey's shoulder, his eyes a mixture of anger and sadness.
"What your friends said is true... you were being deceived. I know the guilt will remain, but the ones truly responsible are those scientists that did in the first place. To go so far as to faking evidence to go along with their deception, there is no way you could have known. You're all still so young, you shouldn't be so hard on yourselves."
"Do you all want something to eat or drink? To refuel your energy before we make our next move?" Arael asked, going over the mini fridge. He was trying to keep arm, but he was absolutely fuming. These scientists were destined for eternal damnation when they finally met they end. An eternity of suffering... it's what they deserved. He felt glad that heaven would never welcome such monsters, but made a silent prayer to the Guardians of hell that their souls would suffer everything they made these poor children suffer.
Cian glanced at Arael and could see he was thinking of suffering. He knew what it was. Cian was from hell himself and had witnessed a lot of terrible things down there, yet the things humans were capable of still surprised him. Arael, as an angel was more sensitive to it so it must be bothering him a lot.Β
(aaah work the next three days T_T I'll try reply when I get home if I'm not too tired, if not it'll be tomorrow morning!)

"Yori.." Zoey takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself. She smiles a at him sadly, showing a soul who is happy for the friends in her life, but is also full of guilt for what she had put innocent people through, as well as pain. What she went through must've been horrific. "Roukan, can I see your computer? My cybernetics parts won't give a virus or anything like that, so you don't need to worry. I can help you tackle the more extreme walls of defense they have."
"May I have a cup of water, please?" Joey asks with a shy smile. He smiles over to Sawyer as he asks for a simple hot dog to eat.Β
Kaede sniffs as he continues to cry. It hurts his heart whenever he talks about the scientists, and about his deceased father. It was horrible. Seeing them shot him right in the heart, giving them no room for parting words..

Roukan gestured for her to come over, moving aside to allow her to see his setup of his laptop, various different external screens, modems and routers. "That would be quite handy. Perhaps with both our skills, we'll be able to hack in with a lot less trouble." Yori watches quietly as this happens before he looks around at everyone. He can see the sadness is all their faces. Like Arael, it also makes him angry.
Arael fetches a hot dog for Sawyer and fills a glass of water for Joey. He notices the boy seems to be hanging back a bit from the five of them. He figures perhaps he's quite shy, so he gives a kind smile as he hands him the glass of water.

Joey smiles shyly and takes the glass of water. "Thank you, Arael."Β
"Thanks for the hot dog." Sawyer sighs as Kaede has gone quite, as he fell asleep in tears. He lays him down somewhere in the room to rest and takes a deep breath. "Sorry for how emotional that moment got.."Β
"Sawyer, you shouldn't apologize for that." Zoey says as she lifts up her arm, allowing some cords with attachments to come out of her cyber arm and attach to his computer, and grins as they start working. "Okay, let's see if I can bypass their first shield of defense. And again, this won't leave any virus or anything that would harm your computer."Β

"It's alright. We understand." Yori said, looking at Kaede. "I know how he feels, in a way. My own father was killed, back when I was a teenager. It was the worst night of my life. It's not something you ever just forget about... it... it's something that's always with you." The anger in his eyes has momentarily disappeared, to be replaced with sadness.
"But at least you're all together. You can help each other." Roukan chipped in, then looked back at Zoe. "I heard you the first time. I'm not worried about viruses, I trust you. I also have backups of everything in case of the worst case scenerio." He chuckled slightly, then nodded. "Go ahead. I'll launch a direct attack after you go in."
"Let's let them do their thing." Ryouji said, his feet still up on the coffee table. "And in the meantime... anyone got anything a little more cheerful? You kids all seem pretty sad, got any good stories in there anywhere?"
"Ryouji, get your feet off the table." Arael said.
"Nah."
The two men stared at each other. Ryouji just grinned and Arael sighed. There was no winning with this vampire.Β

Sawyer chuckles over this. Ryouji sounds like he's a bit of a goof among the five men. "Well-"Β
"Sawyer once got his head stuck in a toilet!" Celeste says and smirks as Sawyer's face turns bright red.

The vampired snorts loudly at that and the other three men all turn to look at Sawyer with a variety of confused and sympathetic looks. Roukan pays no attention as he's busy at work.
"How'd ya manage that?" The vampire laughs. "Hope you had a good shower after that?"
"Leave him alone, Ryouji." Cian sighed, feeling sorry for the poor boy. He imagined that was a something he was never going to live down.Β

"S-shut up!!" Sawyer says with a bright red face
"He was going to the bathroom, when he slipped. His head was a perfect fit!"
Celeste laughs as he looks at her with an embarrassmed expression.

Ryouji laughed out loud. "That's priceless!"
"You're one to laugh at others, Ryouji." Cian shot the vampire a pointed look. "Or do I need to bring up that time with the cupboard-"
"Whoa whoa! Okay man, chill." Ryouji practically jumped off his seat. "So! Roukan, how's the hacking going?"
"Slowly." The werewolf replied. "The kids were right about the difficulty of their defenses. THis is some intricate stuff..."
However, he spoke as if a fire had been lit in his belly. A new challenge, something he hadn't tried to hack into before. A huge blockade. Something he was going to give all he had into figuring it out and getting in, no matter how long it took him. Zoey's help was definitely going to speed up the process. He would love to have a proper look at the cybernetics these kids had one day, though that would probably be crossing a line, and frankly be quite insensitive, given the origins. So he was content just watching Zoey do her thing while he tapped furiously into his computer.

"Come on... Drat! Another fail! They really went all out with keeping people like us out!" Zoey grins at this. "But it'll make their defeat all the more pleasing to me~" She speaks with a hateful tone. Not at the men, but at the defense system the scientists have for their tech. She really hates them with a passion, and there's a good reason why.Β
Sawyer pouts with a bright red face, crossing his arms and makes a huffing noise. "Celeste, Ryouji, not another word from either of you."Β
"But it's so much -" Celeste grins and looks away, trying not to giggle as Sawyer narrows his eyes at her with that face still as red as an apple tree.Β
"Not another word..."Β

"Indeed. They can try all they like to keep us out... it's inevitable we'll get there, no matter how long it takes us. And once we do, we can crush their system from within." Roukan smirks slightly, knowing that idea would be extremely satisfying for Zoey.
Ryouji comes over and claps Celeste on the shoulder. "You know, I think you and I am going to get along real well~" He grins.Β
"As if he needed any encouragement to be a pain in the ass." Cian muttered. Yori shoots Sawyer an apologetic look on Ryouji's behalf... although he can't deny he's also rather amused.Β
"Why don't you tell us more about you and what you can do?" Arael suggests, trying to keep the peace. "Like I'm an angel. Obviously I can fly and I can use holy magic. Unfortunately I'm not a healing angel though so I can't heal any wounds... but I can also call on any bird for assistance and speak any language. Now, yourselves?" He smiles warmly. "Sawyer, I saw you use some sort of... shadow barrier, was it?"

"Shadow shield." Sawyer smiles. "my power is both light and shadow, which is appropriate since my father is an angel, and my mother is a demon. However, I can much more then create shields. Such as blast others with them, create swords of my elements, and so forth."Β
Celeste smiles at Ryouji and giggles. "I think so too~ We can gang up on our friends and make them bright as a cherry!" She laughs as she lifts her hand up for a high five, making Sawyer sigh.Β
"Well, at least we know we can trust each other." He chuckles.Β

"I see." Arael nods. "Roukan over there is a werewolf. He can turn into a large viscious werewolf and is quite strong, but hacking is his main skill. He rarely ever goes full wolf, though it would be helpful at times." He shot a glance in Roukan's direction, but the werewolf ignored it. "Yori is just a human with no magic whatsoever. But he's intelligent, charistmatic and he's our leader. We'd be lost without him."
"You exaggerate." Yori chuckled.
"Cian over there is a shadow demon. He has dark magic and can manipulate the shadows, also being able to sink in and out of them to get to places quickly. He can also produce a bunch of tentacles with can be...useful but will always creep me out." Arael continued. Cian smiled and produced a tendril out of his back, waving at everyone.Β
"As for Ryouji... he's a vampire. He can bite people, but otherwise.... he's nothing special." Arael commented.
Ryouji high-fived Celest and then whirled around to Arael. "Hey! I object to that! I can turn into a bat which is waaay more subtle than your big fluffy wings. And I can use all kinds of weapons! My trusty rifle, guns, grenades~ I'm the best at combat amongst this lot."Β
Arael chuckled. He knew that would get a rise out of him.Β

Sawyer lets out a happy laugh and smiles. "I see! Very nice!"Β
"You know..I wish you guys would be able to visit Ceronia.. It's at Paris, though." Joey says shylyΒ

"Perhaps we could, after everything's settled down here." Yori mused. "It might be nice to have a little bit of downtime."
"That would be nice. I'd like to get a souvenir for Yuka." Cian said thoughtfully. "Yuka's my wife." He explained. "Do any of you have partners?"

The kids nod. "I have a boy friend." Sawyer says.Β
"I have a girl friend, and Joey also has a boyfriend." Celeste giggles as Joey smiles shyly and blushes at the mention of his boyfriend.

"Aww, that's great." Cian smiles. "I hope you're all very happy with them."
"Its nice to find those who accept you for who and what you are." Arael agrees.
(I was thinking of doing a small timeskip to maybe several hours later, perhaps where Roukan and Zoey succeed in hacking into the system?)

Several hours later, Zoey claps with a triumphant grin. "We're in!! Well done, Roukan!"Β

"Yes!!" A massive grin broke out across the werewolf's face. "We did it! That was surely one of the most challenging systems I've ever had to hack into... I couldn't have done it without your help, thank you Zoey. Now, let's see what we've got here!"
Yori and Cian immediately looked over. Arael went to wake Ryouji who'd gone to take a nap a few hours earlier. They'd all managed to preoccupy themselves while waiting for any knew from the two working at the computer - now it seemed their patience had paid off.Β

Zoey lets out a sigh as she finally feels relieved that they can get the the locations of a few of the scientists bases. Maybe, they'll find the missing people from the bomb incident and rescue them, and surely a whole lot of other people being used for horrible experiments! But the thing is, looking for the leader of the scientists, Michelle, is going to be like finding a needle in a haystack.Β
She smiles and nods. "It was really hard, be we did it!" She chuckles as he thanks you. "Hey, you did most of the work. You're a really impressive hacker."Β
She notices that there is a base a ways away from this city. Maybe the missing people were brought there?Β

"Years and years of experience." Roukan smiled. "But your help was crucial. Without it, I never would have been able to penetrate through those first several layers of defenses. They were tough."
"Well, if we go to one place and that lead scientist lady ain't there, then we just blow up that place and move onto the next one. Simple enough, yeah?" Ryouji had rejoined them in time to chip in with his own opinion.
"I don't think it's quite that simple, Ryouji..." Cian sighed.
"Sure it is. Whaddaya think kids? Ready to go smash up some asshole's labs?" He grinned, showing his fangs.Β

"What the authorities are called on us if you blow up the labs? What then?" Sawyer asks while giving Ryouji are "You sure about this?" expression.
"We need to be very, very careful. They'll be armed with all sorts of weapons, and more then likely use people they experimented on, the people that they use for weapons, to get us. Those poor people.." Zoey sighs. She knows how it feels all to well, as she and her friends were to be weapons as well.. "What do we do with them? They're innocent people being used for the scientists?"
"I would say we knock them out, get them in a control area, and work on a way to get them out of this nightmare. Work on trying to get them back to a livable life." Sawyer tells her.Β

"Yeah.. that's a good point. Okay, you kids will scram then we'll blow up the labs." Ryouji waved his hand in a no-big-deal sort of way. "Best way of making sure they don't do it again, right?"
"We'll leave the talk of blowing things for later." Yori said, giving Ryouji a pointed a look. "Although, it feels prudent to mention that it doesn't matter if the authorities come after the five of us. The only one of us that exists officially in the system is Cian... under a false identity. We're very careful about that. But aside from that, I agree with Sawyer. The primary focus should be on rescuing the innocent victims and getting them away from the scientists control, give them a chance to get their life back."
"The scientists know about you kids, but our advantage here is they don't know about us." Arael said thoughtfully. "They're not expending a pure angel, a shadow demon, a werewolf or a walking weapon-shop of a vampire to come attacking them as well, after all."
"...you could have just said mah name." Ryouji stared at him, sensing some sort of dig at him there somewhere.Β

Sawyer looks at Ryouji with a "Really?" look on his face. "You know, I'm this close to calling you Boom Man, for now on." Sawyer brings his fingers close together, until there's not much space between.
Celeste shakes her head and sighs. "Maybe we could quietly destroy the lab? So, oh, I don't know, have you guys end up in big trouble?"Β

"Hey! You can't call me that until you've actually seen me let the grenades go flying." Ryouji retorted, crossing his arms. "I mean yeah, we could destroy quietly but... that's no fun."
"Don't mind him." Yori shakes his head. "Or worry about us. As long as we get the results, it doesn't matter what trouble we end up in. We'll be going back to Japan before long after all as well. Anyway, lets leave the destruction of property until later... lets focus on actual infiltration to start with, and rescuing anyone held there."
"The closest base is still rather far." Roukan says. He brings up a map of the surrounding area and points out the location. "Right here. You guys probably know the French terrain a bit better than us, how far away would you say this is?"

The kids look at the map and Joey looks up at them. "We think it's an hour away. However, it may take longer because of how the land is laid out there. It's known to be a hard hike to that area, especially due to the fast moving rivers nearby."Β
"How are you going to get across those rivers?" Sawyer asks Yori.

"Hmm." Yori mused. "Arael and Ryouji can fly across easily. Arael could also carry people across, one at a time. Roukan could probably jump across in his wolf form if he's going. If there's any trees or cliffs that Cian can latch onto with his tendrils, he can do that. We have a few options."
"I'm happy to carry people across the rivers." Arael said.
"What about you kids? Do you have any methods to getting across the rivers?" Yori asked, wanting to get a better idea of all their options.Β

Sawyer grins. "You can't go wrong with a giant wolf demon." He means that he could turn into his true form and help his friends get across the rivers.

"Good. Seems like we shouldn't have any trouble with the terrain then." Yori smiled.
"Are you going to be coming, Yori, Roukan?" Cian asked.Β
"I won't come into the base, I'll be more a hindrance than a help." Yori sighed. "But Roukan and I will stay outside. We can do a mobile setup and Roukan can help in that way, and I'll stay in contact with you. That way we an also inform you if anything occurs outside. Also, being that close, Roukan can come in to help in person if things start going wrong."
"Good plan." Cian said. He looked at the others. "Any objections?"Β

"None at all!" The kids say all at once.Β
"And Boom Man, please for the love of all that is good in the world, don't set off your explosives until we come to a conclusion on what to do afterwards?" Sawyer smirks as his wolf tail wags. He is going to have a lot of fun with this nicknameΒ

The other four men of the company stiffle their snorts at Ryouji's new name.
"I won't let off any explosions until Yori gives the all clear." Ryouji grumbles. "And oi oi oi, call me by my name or I'll have to call you something in return, puppy dog."
"Well, shall we get going?" Yori suggests. "We can find a vehicle suited for rough terrain to get us as close as possible before we have to hike."Β
