I wouldn't say so.  I'd say that the best things in life are things that can't be bought with money.  Like the best erotica on the web, which is paid for by either sifting through all the shitty (sometimes literally) erotica on the web to find it, or sifting through all the shitty erotica trying to find something just as good.  And ad revenue.  Can't forget ads.

Thanks a lot for the compliment.  I am far from perfect, but I always strive to be as close as possible.  When I started writing these sorts of things, part of what inspired me was the low level of quality writing that I found out there.  I know exactly what you mean about being taken out of a story! I wanted to be a little different, and it's nice to hear that I've at least partially succeeded.

I know this is a late response, but the third book just came out on Friday, July 13! It is currently listed on Amazon and Eroticbooknetwork and the Barnes & Noble listing will be coming very soon. It's called The Mayor's Daughter: Miller's End and it is the final book in the series.
