It's been 13 months exactly so I'd like to catch up and see how your Menger sponge and Sierpinkski projects have turned out .

You're welcome indeed. Do you have an answer for why the door appears to have been turned upside-down at some point with things like Whitney House, "Legalize All Drugs" and Totoro on them?

You're most certainly welcome. Breathtaking work like this should be rightly appreciated and that, I feel, I have shown .

Thank yo so much. I do research to make my art "somewhat" accurate and hopefully relevant, I hope.

Accuracy I think can come and go in art, that it doesn't have to be perfect being one of the great things about it. It seems sort of funny, an OCD person like me (not just an expression, I really do have it) saying that something doesn't have to be perfect. Naturally the quality of realism you bring to something is directly based on the look you're going for and your subject matter, but art is spectacular because if you feel like changing something, you can. And, at least in my mind, art is always relevant because it will certainly mean different things to different people across the ages. Some art doesn't translate well to the future (such as racist models of slaves turned into cutesy little porcelain dolls) but a lot of it does, at least to me. Now popularity is something different, but I think you'll find it in time .

The Baby Boom did bound onto the scene, Big Time. I have watched fortunes ebb and flow as the Baby Boomer spent their money. I am sure the first was diapers, then TV, then, Hula Hoops, then Protesting, then Outer Space, bicycles, exercise gear, big homes, schools, banks, computers, and now, geriatric healthcare. It was a big gulp for society to swallow. I hope and expect that there will be a free world where everyone can travel free of random political explosions. There is no privacy now. I think Trump found that out this past week, as well!
Have a fun day, David!

Every generation has their quirks that make history and I just wished I thought that this generation had a better legacy to leave when it comes time for the next wave. Privacy is pretty well gone and we should all keep our noses clean anyway - and keep incriminating pictures off the Internet! I've always found it hard to have sympathy for people whose, shall we say, compromising pictures found their way to the Internet. Here's a suggestion - don't take those kinds of pictures! Peace out Danny .

I watch many of those artists. I tried the group stuff when I first joined dA, but it was not an adventure that worked out well for me. In general, I am not interested in any accolades, but a DD would be nice. I wish I could find something profitable to do with my art, but I am not a salesperson or a marketing hound. So I just do the art. Here, on dA, is a great place to track and display one's work, easily. So I just create and display, with some interaction with other artists. It is like mixing with the choir!
is really just a mutual admiration society, in general. I like that too.

Wow, what a wealth of animation! Sorry to hear that the group gig didn't work, but at least you're doing your art for the right reasons, not because others may or may not enjoy it but because it means a lot to you. I'm with you on the sales bit, not having the skills of a marketer or a salesperson, so I just do my art and take a great deal of satisfaction in it, simply because of what it means to me .
