It is nice to have just those extra things. Haha. I know, from doing sales, that the absolute best way to get noticed, is by word of mouth advertisement. So I definitely will have your back on that! Especially once I have that doll in my hands, it will help out much more as well!

Thanks a lot.. I really appreciate that. It is pretty hard to get noticed for things, especially online when there's SO many people doing the same types of things. I never thought I'd sell one or have someone interested!

Well Springfield is big for three things; art, music, and college. Every first Friday of the month, we have like a festival type thing called "ArtWalk". And it's where all kinds of artists go to our downtown and sell their art, play music, etc. All the galleries open up for hours. It's amazing! I think you would do good selling during something like that!

You should! Go out and mingle with some other artists.

There's also like a "secret" artist club, invite only, called Art Jam at Squid Foo. It's where all the local artists (that are more underground but well known) get together every Sunday night and just work on our art while taking turns djing and working on new projects, collaborating, etc. Amazingness. Never knew about it until I tattooed one of them and got invited.

So you should definitely find other artists in your area. Also try starting out at local thrift stores and flea markets and put your work up there as well. Definitely a great place to start locally.

I know that feeling. Haha. I'm kinda in the same place right now. I wanna get more into photography. But all I have is my phone and no money to put towards a camera (damn being an adult and having responsibilities! lol). So I do my little sketches and doodles to at least kind of keep up.
