You know.. I might go to Anime Expo, but not to hold a booth down I'm afraid. I've been to one my friend dragged me to and begged me to wear my Mortal Kombat Scorpion costume to. lol
And I had a blast.

Even though MK isn't anime. LOL.
I heard a few people saying (hey that's not anime!) lol.. So Im not sure if my line of work would even be received well there.

But I do go to general comic book shows. I will be at SDCC, but for leisure only. =]

And no problem! Keep taking those gorgeous photos. You know, i recently bought a camera and went out after it finished raining and took shots of my plants in front of my apartment. So beautiful how the weather and water makes the green look so fresh.

People go dressed as comic book and game characters all the time, don't worry about it. It's going to be my first con, so I'm making a list of people I want to see. I'll probably be dressed as Sailor Moon, so I have no doubt I'll be made fun of. I'm used to it, so it doesn't matter.

I know! There's an old barn and silo by my mom's house that just begs to be made into a card or something, I might do that one day.

Well, if I get my suit ready by the con, I will go as 1989 Batman! I just obtained a new cowl which actually looks much better than the one i had in the pics. Its the same sculpt but its a little bit bigger, by like half and inch or more which made a world of a difference, making me look more like Michael Keaton than before. lol So im getting all geeked out over that. hahahaha..

I'll let you know if I show up! We could meet for a few fun batman & sailor moon pics (won't that be interesting? lol)

Hahahah I know what you mean. I knew if I was going to put together an 89 film bat outfit, it would have to be darn near identical, if not, a complete replica of the original. No matter what the cost.

Funny enough, I never imagined Id end up with a bunch of replica belts, masks and rubber suits in my closet. lol..
But they come in handy for when I go out and fight crimee..errr...... convention visits... yeah.

Funny you say that. Im actually helping a 12 year old Batman fan make his own 89 screen accurate bat suit. Im giving him my cowl, cape, emblem and belt. Needless to say, he's thrilled in disbelief. I like kids. They're great. Even the little monsters I used to teach last year. lol.

Yeah, kids are great, I can't wait to hove some little demons of my own, and yes they will be demons! Oh god, if my oldest nephew went through your closent he would never take the costume off...ever. I've been to the mall with him and his younger brother in lion and bear costumes, or in spider man and venom, I love every minute of it! I wish I could get away with stuff like that still

Oh god, I would pay to see that! I read your bio on your website, damn. I think you should go into teaching again, I would have loved to have a teacher like you when I was a kid. I know so many people who would have benifited from your art and life experiences, my friend Julianne for one.

I do miss it, but I have major goal I need to get to and set the example of what I've been teaching my students about going the distance in life.
Perhaps I'll come back to the class rooms once again some day.
