I did manage to spend 90 minutes at Giza (hence the taxi ride) but we got there just as it was closing at dusk. The guys that operated the camel rides sneaked us in via an adjacent cemetary after the crossing their palms with silver. They in-turn bribed the civilian guards and we ended up snooping around the area. The military guards are un-bribeable so we had to do some ducking and diving to avoid any unpleasantness but I got some great video cos we went into tombs that weren't open to the public. It seems you have to know which bars in the locked gratings are loose
