No, although I could be... I believe in an Abrahamic God... most of the time... but I like to remain Agnostic and keep my mind open to all religions, which I find fascinating. I find that if I label myself one thing, I am a bit more boxed in. Although as of the moment I identify closer with Islam than anything else.

Well, if you noticed his first announcement of quitting was on the deviation and when I woke up this morning, I had an AIM message from Andy saying, "I like that piece that you did, I can't speak for certain other people though" So I assumed that something about the deviation didn't sit right with him... which I hope isn't true... I don't think I could bear the guilt of making a fellow freedom fighter feel alienated.

Yeah, I don't know the exact text but the Bible also says that we should not wear cotton with wool and that midgets should not be allowed in the church. More than that, if it is against nature to be homosexual, then could you explain the fact that there are homosexual animals? And more than that, it is forcing religion onto people to base laws off of it, which is essentially what is happening.

Then you must consider the texts altered and deleted by the Catholic church. And then there's the fact that the Old Testiment is far far different from the New Testiment. Instead of the wrath of God, it is about God's undying love for all humans.
If the Republicans are governing me or anyone else (by the way, government of one man by another is slavery) by their religions beliefs, which they are welcome to, then they are shoving religion and Christianity down our throats. I don't shove my political views on anyone; shoving is forcing you to conform to my laws, which I clearly stated in the initial comment. I just preach it, you make your own choice.

I'm anti-Christian but pro-Jesus. I believe in God, I believe in the word of Jesus. What I don't believe in is organized religion - God should be an individual, personal, bond with God. Instead, we in the West make these Holy images and cults of personality surrounding them. We have "faith" instead of spirituality. I don't believe in manipulating the good prophets to suit political causes. Christians have been doing that since the very beginning - the gnostic gospels. Also, I don't believe in trying to force religion on anyone, as the Christian Church seems to. It's ok to preach it and invite people to believe, but that's not what they do. Instead, they say, "Believe this or go to a life of eternal damnation in Hell." That's not right. God is not a judgmental being. He is very forgiving. You do not have to belong to any church to be accepted by God. Saying that you do is, indeed, elitism.
Just so you know, I am very middle class. Republicans aren't for me. Liberals are for the poor. Republicans are for the rich. The middle class is relatively in-between. That's reflected in voting demographics. It is stupid to say that liberals are for the rich, whom they would tax. Republicans roll back the tax cuts.
You keep saying that it's nothing you haven't heard before, that doesn't make it wrong. Also, if it is, why would you keep the conversation going? And you think what you say is new to me? And let's talk about this "hate" I have for the president. I never expressed contempt for the president in our conversation, rather his policies.
