thanks for the comment. this is a somewhat reoccurring theme and symbolic immagery with me. masks. whats under the skin, mirror reflection...etc. searching for the truth, looking for that center. mostly in myself. but witnessing its effect in so many around me. so many bright and beautiful people who are suffocating themselves under their own self imposed masks.

Nope...no news on the job front. Still looking...we'll see.

As for the depression, it's day by day. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad. But the main thing lately has been the lack of money.

The military won't pay me the money that i'm owed, and my mother is broke. I have no money to do anything, even to pay my bills. I'm over drawn on my back account (as of this morning) by 9 bucks, and that's because the military said I owed them something, so they charged my account...nice isn't it?

So...i'm freaking out. Very badly. And I have no idea what to do. My unemployment check needs to hurry up and get here.

I'm not sure about the thing with TRW.

I may have gotten the job, but it was through a friend that might be able to get it for me. The problem is that it wouldn't be the contracting job, as much as it would be in the field of Aerospace Engineering. Which not only something that I really have no want to do, but it would put me behind a cubicle all day. So I decided to try and get something that is more in my field of experteise (Alaram Systems Dispatcher, Surveillance camera operator), and something that would let me be a little freer in where I would work.

This is the same discussion that I get into with people every time that I talk about LoTR.

Yeah, I do know that Tolkein is the one that really started the fantasy genre, and if it weren't for him, the books in that genre today wouldn't be there.

However, when you read the LoTR, it just fails to actually sound like an intellegent book. I mean, it was originally written for the guys nephew as a bed time story. All of the Elves, hobbits, dwarves, and stuff just seem too...bland for me.

What I like about the Wheel of Time is that it has a more eduacted/intellegent feel to it, and wasn't written for someone that would actually enjoy the name Bilbo

Ahhhh...I gotcha. Well, as long as he fell into a place that he feels he belongs, thats good regardless.

I'm not sure if I want to try and deal with these problems by myself, or if I want to seek help and end up being back on meds. I suppose we shall see how everything works out over time.

They arent exactly the same journal entry. But you can't edit a journal, so you have to re-submit it if you make a mistake on something, That's why I have the same entry a couple times. I just haven't deleted the ones that had little mistakes in them.



As far as that support group goes, it's certainly an idea. Although I am going to try and get through this on my own now. I'm out of the military, so I don't have to hide anything any longer. I can actually be who I am, so it's alot easier now.
