Dude, I don't mean "reference work". All work can use reference, just to see if you got the chin right, or the arm the right shape. I'm not saying do pictures from references, but to use references in your pictures.

Hello, my rock star friend of Photoshop. What happend to the immense progress you were making during school?
Your last picture, you seemed to rush when you finally made it to the girl's face. As if you got tired of the picture after the designs.
A suggestion, try working on multiple pictures, in different mediums at the same time. Also, don't forget the incredable use of references. You don't need to copy a picture, just get the jist of how things work, how it flows well.
Last, and this is a personal note, profiles are almost always the weakest view of a person's face. 3/4's side to side. From the bottom. From the top. But straight on, and profile's offer the least amount of expression.
