hey that Patrol bot pic was done in Corel Painter IX and Adobe Photoshop CS, but mostly Photoshop CS. I used a Wacom graphics tablet instead of a mouse.

Producing ace art is all about practise. A good way to learn is to try immitating someone else's style in your own work. I'm no pro but I'm influenced a lot by other artists and professionals, using little bits I've learnt here and there in my own art. It's a long, hard struggle and I practise every day... Over time you'll notice yourself improving

ok thanks for the tips. ill try drawing someone else's style to see if it improves my drawing skills. also i should be getting a wacom tablet in 2 weeks time so i wil be looking forward to playing around with that :D (Big Grin)

hey man, i reckon with your style of drawing you could do some cool surreal stuff that makes no sense. Like a man standing, looking cautiously around with a toy next to him. The man's saying "Do you think it's safe now?" or something...
That's just off the top of my head... nonsense may not be your thing but there's quite a few crazy artists on DA and people seem to like it

its called a favourite, u go to a piece on someones and if u like their work u add it as a favourite to show appreciation and it also allows others to view the stuff u like
