In all honesty, Melbourne is a lot better in terms of creative community and shops and just STUFF. So if you are serious about moving down, you might like to consider there.
HOWEVER, there is the totally off-putting fact that I won't be there haha.

and after talking a bit with the guys in my studio, melbourne is more..
the 'cool' place to be for artsy types? but.. fuck hipsters?
sydney is where you'll probably actually achieve more. and sell a bit more.
plus. they're really goddamn close to eachother anyway. which rocks. and ive got
another mate there who's currently looking for a place. and a few who may consider
sharehousing if we all pooled in and wanted to get some shit rockin.
