The deviant that I cannot mention has been causing trouble in the forums by flamebaiting and using derogatory comments. As a result, I reported the deviant for the mess that he caused. I'm hoping that he ends up losing his account.

It seems that he's either tired of the deviantART website or someone got into his account and hacked it to a point where the hacker wants his account banned. Either way, he is going to be no longer a part of dA.
People have every right to voice their opinions on how bad dA is, but spamming the forums and using derogatory comments is just not okay at all.

Nope. I'm afraid that he's not and he's going to get busted by the dA admins for doing that. That's why I reported him to put a stop to the spamming bombardment before any more damage is done.

hello random person ^^ I just wanted to ask you some questions about your comic..hope that's cool with you. so yeah:
1) what's it about
b) how long does it take you to do like a page of your comic
3) how long have you been "writing" it

1. oh boy, it's about a lot of things. It follows quite a few characters really, but I won't get into all their stories yet.
Essentially, it's about various people and how their lives are effected by the government--the UE (united empire), which is a bit like a cross between an empire and a democracy. It looks into the "dark" side of society and how technologies like our TV and medications eventually control us all, and how willingly we give up our liberty for the allusion of freedom. It's about the struggle of living in a world of the brainwashed and undead, kind of like 1984 or Fahrenheit 451 or something from the Zeitgeist documentary, only tens of thousands of years in the future.
The plot is a bit complex, I'll leave all the details of that for the actual comic.
2. Doing a page... It varies, it normally takes me about a day or two to do one page, most of it spent on coloring, which can take several hours.
3. I've been planning it out and writing the script etc for about a year and a half.

Time? Way too much yet nowhere near enough, at the same time.
Well, keep playing around with its basic structure and things like figuring out where to place speech bubbles etc will be a breeze. I play with my ideas for sometimes years before I actually do anything with them. The more time you spend thinking about it, getting to know your characters and fleshing them out, along with your plot, and all of that, the better it will turn out in the end.
Smack jeeves is alright, pretty cool place aside from the crazy heaps of mediocre "mangas."
