Thank you for saying this. And the reason I tolerate the often perfunctory stuff on dA is exactly what you said - once in a while you discover another who gives considered comment, constructive criticisms, and often technical and artistic tips. I also have to admit that I usually have a prejudice against digitally produced art - even though some of it is truly stunning and creative. Barrie

Very true! It's hard to deny that digital work can take just as much skill and often be even more time-consuming than traditional art, but I can't help but feel a specific thrill at seeing, holding, touching an original painting or drawing.
