However, I have negative to none clue about how to start one. x3
I was wondering if you had any tips about starting an agency and keeping it active?

Hi! Sorry I know this question wasn't directed at me but I wanted to give my input incase it will help you.Β
I started an adopt agency with my sister and when we agreed to do one together we started by drawing some concepts of possible creatures we would have, we discussed things like species information and how things would run like breeding seasons and trading and what items we would have and how they would work. Pretty much we got all of our basic ideas out and on paper before we started making anything. So I would say start with planning and concepts c:Β

It also helps to have other agencies (or agency founders rather) look over everything while you are setting up, not only will we try to give you advice on things that might cause issues but most of us are more than willing to be members! Β
