I used to have a friend with type 1, she was somewhat kind to me....hmmm hopefully you live healthy and it doesn't worsen at all!!!
My father had type 2 diabetes and we used to talk about it and I know its hard to live with diabetes, so I wish you health!

Technically, I was born with the possibility of it developing, though we didn't know it until two years ago. My body just stopped producing enough insulin so I have to take injections now. My parents are both Type II, hence I got tested by them a few times at random which resulted in blood sugar levels so high the doctors were surprised I hadn't had a seizure or stroke by then. Had been drinking a gallon or two of water a day though, so they said I was likely just pissing the sugar out, though it was making my pancreas even worse as a result. I certainly am trying to deal with it as best as I can, though it is irritating that most good meals are high in carbs.

No need to be sorry, I was extremely cool with it, it didn't phase me as much since I was mentally prepared for it. Only one it took hard to was my ma, but she's better ^^

Yes, it is. Back when it was a big thing someone made the base (linked in my signature line) from which I made the avatar icon. Took a bit of time but it still amuses me enough to not have come up with anything else yet.
