There are many tutorials here on deviantArt that can help you make your own journal skins. Check out our tutorial gallery here...

Same thing here: before asking this kind of help, please, check the CSS tutorials on deviantART. There's plenty of them to help you create your CSS, but there's no point of asking someone to code it for you because you'll never learn. We, on this group, are mainly here to give tips and tricks and showcase CSS, but not to make complete CSS codes for other people.

Before asking for help, make sure you have read the MANY tutorials you can find all over dA. It's pointless to ask for help like that because nobody will help you to create your CSS from A to Z if you don't try to understand how to make one by yourself first.

Okay, I'll look at your page then! I still hope to find a way to get a background into my fave-boxes ... I mean, it works, but then the fave-deviation is somehow UNDER the background (you can't see it, but you see the big gap).

But it still doesn't work on the fave-boxes. You can see the background and your text, but you can't see the deviation any more (same with the donations-box). For some reason, it works in the "Newest"-boxes, hmmm...

by fav-boxes do you mean the content-holder boxes that are inside the custom-box widget?

i mean the boxes in which you can choose the favourite work(s, if you're a premium member) of your own gallery. like on my page the box with the deviation of the white horse in it.

You're actually trying to do which is impossible in that box because many tags and class are not allowed in it! And almost everything works in the custom-box because it allows them(deviantART itself says that 'whatever you want, dalin' for that box)

I hope you won't bang your head more on those boxes now!

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question but I've been trying to submit journal skin and everytime I try it says "The file could not be parsed" when I know my code is fine(I've tried it on firefox and Internet Explorer and it works fine on my journal).
I've contacted the Help Desk as well as asked people on the help-chat thingy but none of it was any help. I've submitted a journal skin before as well, which worked fine at that time. Can anybody help?

I uploaded one before(1st skin I made) and I just put the code in the skin part and followed the "How to..." thing and it worked fine. After that it's not letting me do it. I didn't have to put the pre-code the first time I uploaded one.

For install skins you always had to add that precode. For downloadable CSS journals you just had to zip up the the files for people to download but you had to upload it to the "Complete CSS" section

Hi. I have premium membership and I won a DD for one of my works.

I've seen some deviants featuring their DD in a special box in their pages (with the same DD box and the comment inside it under the feature) .I mean the yellow and gray tag with the heart on the side.

How can I do the same??

I tried to search for it in dA but I didn't know where to look.
