Yeah, I know that feeling. I see textures everywhere I go. When I'm at the zoo, I am the person that takes pictures of the birdpoop on the glass front because it'll make a decent texture. So naturally, people stare weirdly. "What is that woman taking pictures of, Mum?" "I don't know, honey. Let's just go"

Hahaha. My boyfriend says he's ok with it, but whenever I'm taking another picture of a broken tile of a rusty car he always stands a little further away than is really necessary

Hallo,

ich habe mal eine Frage, da Du Dich ja mit Texturen und damit auch vermutlich deren Kategorisierung auskennst.

Ich arbeite ja mit Spiegelungen von Bildern, meistens aus der Natur. Flechten, Äste und solch ein Kram. Und nun weiß ich nicht, wo gehören solche Dinge hin, wenn ich sie als Texturen anbiete. "Organic"? Oder "Abstract"? Oder ganz was anderes?

Ich würde es wohl am ehesten in Abstrakt packen. Es ist zwar aus etwas organischem entstanden, aber als solches nur marginal erkennbar.

Es gibt höchstens eine Kategorie für Photoshop patterns, also nahtlose Muster. Da müsstest du als Künstler entscheiden, ob dein Werk eher Textur oder Photoshop Pattern ist
