Thank you Nellie; I've been a fan of (the cartoon version of) Peter Puppy ever since the cartoon first aired on a channel called The WB.
I love the show, but there is at least one episode that is junk. There's a 3 DVD set of it, with all the episodes (the show lasted only 23 episodes).

Peter Puppy is smart but gets nervous & emotional fairly easily. He also turns into an "Incredible Hulk" like monster whenever he gets angry or insulted.

I live in a community where Union Pacific's (originally Southern Pacific's) track divides the town into two sections. The rail line goes into the nation of Mexico from here. I'm something of a highway & signage fan, so your gallery caught my interest.

I live along Union Pacific myself and it too used to be owned by Southern Pacific. We have the main Sunset Line, which is now being double-tracked and hopefully train traffic will increase if it hasn't already and we also have a line that goes into Mexico, though Nogales.

I'm also wishing for passenger rail between Tucson and Phoenix, although I'm not too crazy about the High Speed Rail because it's too fast and no railroad crossings will be built and we may lose more of our crossings, we've lost Prince Road in 2013 or 2014 and we lost Twin Peaks Road (both are now overpasses.) I want the passenger rail but if it means losing our crossings, I can wait.

But it would be nice to ride something other than Amtrak for once. I've ridden the trains in Germany, the Trolleys in Nurnburg, Germany, and I've ridden the Metro Transit Light Rail in Minneapolis to Bloomington, Minnesota and I rode the Tucson Streetcar. In fact I just rode one on Wednesday. And that's what we'll have to be satisfied with until Commuter Rail starts running in Tucson, if it ever does. I'm still waiting to ride the Light Rail up in Phoenix.

I used to be highly into road signs, but now I'm way more into railroad crossings than anything else. I do like signs with flashing beacons though. Do you know TheFreewayRailfan?
