I had to push about eight inches off of my car then scrape another half inch of ice, which made me late for my dentist appointment, which, in turn, meant that I didn't get X-rays done today.
But the sun is out now and that's pretty.

Jesus christ. And to think it's so warm here all the time we've gone several years on and off without a single snowflake. A couple years ago we got a few snowflakes and the entire city literally shut down and everyone bought out the grocery stores and we were told we weren't allowed to leave our houses for a full week because of the "ice" and "snow" and it wasn't even that much, and then last year we got no snow at all. :'| Sure is different xD;

I've always wanted to travel to Canada but I'm not quite sure where to travel to for the best tourist sites and attractions and then I remember I don't know anything about Canada except for the stereotypes - ice hockey, moose, geese, beavers, maple syrup, gay marriage, apologizing when someone else punches you in the face, etc. Also everyone I know from Canada(well not literally everyone but almost everyone) is from Ontario. Or Toronto which is in Ontario so it doesn't even count. :'| But every single time I meet someone from Canada and I ask where they're from it's Ontario. And I'm like, "Oh great right should have known." 8|

And you missed a stereotype: universal healthcare. XD
And if you did want to visit Canada, if you were looking more for culture, then yeah, I'd suggest Ontario/Quebec because of the history there. I mean, there's 400 years of recorded history in the eastern part of the country and only about 150 in the west. ^__^;; Although, if you're looking for nature, the farther west and north you go, the more of it there is.

Wow okay see I can learn a lot of things by talking to you. If I ever have questions about Canada I'm coming back here. xD I mean really all I have to do is drive up the east coast since that's where I am and I'd land myself right in Ontario anyway, but I would like to also see the beautiful nature aspect of it as well so I guess I'd have to go roadtrip style and go for a few different areas xD

I love it when I talk to Europeans and they think that they can visit all of the major places in Canada in a week. It's fun to laugh at them and remind them that Canada is the 2nd biggest country in the world and we don't have high speed rail service.Β

I think if I were you I would mess with them and see what you can come up with, do sketches and whatnot, but if you just don't like them enough or you feel like the original lines are still the best then keep them that way. It's really up to you in the end, but I do think if you mess with them you'll get a feel for whether you really want to or not.

And we're thinking of hitting Vancouver next month, and next month brings a whole swathe of new movies and video games that we're squeezing money.Β
My thanksgiving was... different. :/ We had to hold it in town this year so that my uncle could attend (because I don't think a hospital day pass is good for an hour long journey from the hospital. XD).

Hey Cao. So there's this guy in my life who's the closest thing I have to family, his name is Thomas and he's a big brother to me. He was asking something on Facebook and I was wondering what you would tell him.
He said:
"I'm confused about adoptables on DeviantArt. What's the point? If you can come up with a character design that's awesome enough for people to want to buy... wouldn't you also think it's awesome and want to keep it? And you put all that effort into drawing and coloring them out and designing them... and then, sure, you make a few bucks off of it but then, what? You're not allowed to draw it anymore? And why go looking to buy an adoptable anyway? Can't people come up with their own character designs? And if they see an OC that they like... couldn't they just ask permission to do fanart of it? Most artists like fanart of their OCs anyway. Just really confused what that's all about."
What would you say to him as an adoptable creator and someone who also adopts from other agencies? The Springs is my favorite Adoptable Agency so I value your opinion and was just curious. c:

Was shamelessly stalking through the springs profile comments and I saw this and decided to add in my two bits even though this is probably resolved!
Basically what Cao said with the whole not wanting to keep them. I personally design things for creative practice (my hybrids especially) or just because I'm doodling on homework/whatever (my notes critters), but then wouldn't have any use for them or don't particularly like, but were just the product of an overactive designing streak. There are a few that I can't let go of (for example, the hybrid that is now the icarus species at Katjalore) but for the most part they're useless to me since I already have a ton of designs that I never use and stuff like that.
Also, there are some people who lack the inspiration/creativity/skill/whatever to design their own creatures/characters, and so adoptables are a great way for them to gain character designs for stories and such.
Agencies are fun because of the activities you can do. They feel like pet sites such as Neopets or Subeta sometimes but one helluva lot more personal.
