Of course I think the designs are awesome, but the problem with me is that I love to create the design, but after that I don't typically have the capacity to create a background and a personality for them. And the sweet thing about an agency that does adoptables is that even after the design is in the hands of whoever bought it, I still retain rights because it's my base. So I can still draw it or whatever. What it comes down to, as an agency owner, is creating a plethora of adoptables for other people, because I honestly would not know what to do with 2500+ designs on my own. XD
And when it comes to making fanart of someone else's character, well, it's still not your character, so you don't have the say when it comes to adding something to a character, like a scar or a piercing or a certain clothing style. It becomes this awkward arrangement in which you don't want to overstep the character's owner's visions for the character (for instance, if the owner has a character that has a peaceful personality, you can't really draw them in a fierce kind of pose or whatnot).Β

I honestly don't care. I'm not as abhorred by change as a lot of people seem to be, especially when it's something as far from life changing as a change of formatting. I think a lot of people are being selfish little babies; either demanding dA change it back or demanding that dA give the non-premium people a Β new symbol too.

It is nice, I think maybe a future update should allow us to pick our username color from a very limited color palette.
