You can change the font as well by using:
font-family: [font-name]
Though you should check out one or both of these websites. As not all fonts will work on the web.

now if you can just find a way to do this in custom boxes that dont have a CSS section.

Do you mean the custom boxes as in the ones you can add to your page? (not in journals)

I'm afraid that you can't change the colour or font in your custom boxes, though you can however add boxes to your custom boxes. Take a look at `DEVlANT who shows you a few ways of doing this. It's the closest you will get to customizing a box without being a deviousness award or being a dA Staff member.

If you wish to know more about CSS, you should check out css related websites. Here are some links to get you started.

These can tell you everything you need to know, including changing colours of background and text.

I think I've see this somewhere here but I can't find it again, so I'll ask: how do I make those small boxes to write text in? I don't know how they're called...

BaB-Jane In reply to LuisaRafidi [2010-02-23 10:38:06 +0000 UTC]
It's quite vague... What do you mean exactelly? Are you talking about the main boxes of your journal in which you can write your main content?

I'm not real sure what you mean. Where are you wanting the small boxes? In your journal? On your page?
To get them in your journal you will need to put the proper HTML coding into the journal text area (which can be and usually is different from Artist to Artist) Try first going to where you got your skin from and look to see if the Artist has included HTML reference anywhere for you to use within his/her journals.

Oh, I don't plan on customizing much my page (for now), I just used a button here and there Like on the bottom of my FAQ [link] and on that box to the right of every journal. I also used a box and a few buttons on my group #Fans-of-Zelda - I wish I could use those buttons all over the place

Comment on CSS Cursors, the 'All Browsers' section... Macintosh has cursors for n-resize, e-resize, ne-resize, etc. I'm not sure if other OS do. But you may want to update the list to include them so people are aware.
