yes, but his extraordinary innocence- his perfection. he's just a little too...good, to be real. he always comes out on top and all of his problems are solved almost instantaneously so that you have to come up with more and more unrelated plot points

Okay, I am thinking that he won't get out of the owl one. However I was thinking this confrontation will occur later, with a hawk instead of an owl.

As for that having him eaten by the snake was that a good idea? Granted he became evil, in that one.
