Wow, solid gallery here. I adore the vibrancy of your colour style. Really, everything is very thick, very vivid. It makes your nicely detailed character designs even more lively. And you have a sublime sense of value -- I'm highly envious of the amount of depth you can give a composition!

aha no seriously, thank you so much. I don't know what you're talking about though because quite clearly you throw out amazing characters all the freaking time ( i am so excited for your superheroine SUPER CUTE duo! )

I don't really know where to pinpoint where I get my randomass ideas, because I usually take what I like from life and shift it into characters and stories. Like, for Pandemonium ([link] !) I saw a chick smash a guitar and I was like MAN THATD BE A RANDOM WEAPON FOR A SUPERVILLAIN. I'm also into psycology, so when it comes to personalities I research that (like the meyers brig test is fun to branch off of!) and try and get how people tick and how to make new characters interesting. Sometimes I'll just think of a totally random quirk ( "Gets lost in a three bedroom apartment." "Can't stand not knowing something". ) and branch off a whole character from that single line. It's hard to explain! But I'm sure you do the same thing. c: You quite clearly have an awesome talent for character concepts!

Music helps a lot too, of course.
