alright My otpf (one true pair forever) is Link & Lucy for the win they're Perfect            

Lucy even states that she wants to be saved by a hero 

and Link is that hero

think of this

the hero saves the depressed princess.

the princess turns out to be Lucy.

with the personality Lucy has, she ends up going on travels with him

Oh so true. That and they just look so cute together like the markers of both franchises incoherently made them perfect for each other all except navi, the fairy would probably end up at the bottom of a swamp in a bottle, especially with Lucy's temper. But either then that they could both easily depend on each other. Lucy could easily protect Link with her spirits and Link to Lucy with all of his cool weapons and devices that he receives. gha their just so adorable

Exactly that is why Link & Lucy are the Prefect Couples 

After everything he's been through in the Zelda games, Link deserves to be with somebody. He deserves some level of happiness. Not just "Good job, kid. Well, see you the next time I get kidnapped!" You know?

he saved Zelda everytime but what he get nothing in return no hugs, no kisses noting but a annoying sidekicks

He deserves happiness plus he lost his parents so does lucy,

plus Lucy can help Link in a fight
with attacks like a Link & Lucy Kick and use their whips togeter also they do a Unision raid together like Triforce Metria and Celestial Spirit Slash. what you think?

No truer words have been spoken. Link always gets the shaft when it comes to Zelda. Those would be some pretty cool attacks to see. I would especially like to see the Triforce Metria, the spell Unrano Metria was always one of my favorites from fairy tail and mixed with Link's Triforce ability it would probably not only be beautiful but super effective in a fight. 

Lucy also has a similar problem in Fairy Tail. Even though she is one of the main character of the show, she is always put off as a side character, especially after they introduced Natsu, Gray, and Erza. When ever there is a fight she is always being shoved off to the side and kicked out of the action or she is only aloud to summon one spirit before the enemy beats her or kidnaps her. And while they do have story acres and major fight scenes that belong to Lucy she even then still gets slightly pushed off, like in the infinity clock arc. So in all higndsight they are perfect in  every way for each other.
